I think he's probably scared of his own shadow.

It made me laugh, he will never live it down.

I do wonder what's he's doing in there tho? With a full time job in Emmerdale he's on our screens 5 nights a week so he doesn't need the exposure or the money which is what most of them do it for.

He was so scared of everything, and didn't even try to hide it, he is going to be voted for every trial that involves bugs or spiders now, it will be hilarious. I can actually see him refuseing to do some of them ,resulting in no food for camp. I thought his partner Joel was great, don't know how he put up with him screaming and leaping about while he was trying to work out the morce code .

That was what was so funny about it. Joel trying so hard not to completely lose his cool with Adam even though he was also terrified of spiders. It was very, very funny.

It was really funny, I did LOL a couple of times.

For me though, the funniest ever camp mates will always be Dean Gaffney and Paul Burrell.

Their reactions during tasks were absolutely hilarious.

Out of all of them, he's the one that I find slightly annoying and getting worse. His bromance with Joel comes across as slightly creepy too. I honestly thought he was gay the way he fawns all over Joel until I googled who he was and saw he was in a relationship with a woman and has kids with her.

at the bit where Adam suddenly swiped Joel across the back of his neck, because he had a bug on him too - tears of laughter were streaming. He was the new Dean Gaffney/Paul Burrell! Maybe because the girls had conquered spectacularly their eating trial, I just wasn't expecting Adam to be quite so traumatised. He'll probably have no problem at all with the height task tonight. Anything with creepy crawlies however......

to me it looked fake. He knows full well the more scared you act the more likely you are to get voted to do trials = more air time.

You can see 'fake' in everything, especially if you are already looking to see 'fake' people.

It was hysterical. One of the funniest trials in a long time featuring four of the most joyfully incapable campmates, all fully aware of how incapable they were.

I am loving this IAC.

Adam is a professional actor and was only doing a scene something he does on Emmerdale .Lisa is a professional model Ola and Jordan are professional dancers
Wayne was a professional footballer .The show is heavily scripted its staged its not real its all done for entertainment .

Definitely not. He was 2 seconds away from out and out gibbering, fall-down, terrified hysteria! And you could see by his demeanour back at camp that he was still really jittery from the experience.

It was ridiculous acting. Embarrassing.

I can't believe people think it's legit.

Definitely pumping for the bush tucker votes. He's hardly the first to play this strategy. When he gets one he'll land some stars but make enough silly noises and feigned fear to be voted for the next one. Then wash rinse repeat.

Trials are a huge amount of air time and it's a valid game plan.

Ok as far as Adam is concerned as he is an actor but what does a professional football player or dancer bring to the table of scripted reality

Personally I don't believe for a minute Adam was acting. I've seen him on Emmerdale and trust me he's not that good Joel's reactions actually peaked my interest. You could tell he was getting irritated though tried to hide it with that massive grin and his funny comments. Also the way he kept repeating for the audience and his camp mates sake how terrified Adam was and how silly he was

I'm wondering if Joel is going to end being the one at the centre of friction or be the camp bitch. I do like him but can see the possibility of trouble ahead with him.

He is genuinely frightened to death of spiders and has been to see an hypnotist to rid him of his fear but it did not work. God knows what he is doing in there as he should have gone on This Morning and got the Speakmans (they are phobia specialists) to help him before he set foot in the Jungle. I really think he will be traumatized by the whole experience and Joel is soon going to lose his cool with Adam. IMO

No. Scarlett during the first trial "Chicken Kebab...CHICKEN KEBAB, I JUST WANT A CHICKEN KEBAB" was the funniest thing I've seen so far
