Erm sorry to be negative but have to agree with Hello-member on that one!!
Do the factory lot really go out to client meetings leaving the office door wide open for any Tom, Dick or Harry to walk in!!
Liked his scenes after that but found that one really bizarre tbh!!
Semed to me like a rather lame effort to set up a feud between Adam & Aidan!!

Oh yeah don't get me wrong, it was only the particular factory scene I found ridiculous!!
The Grand Baldwin style entrance in the Jag was great & I'm really happy they're making him more Baldwin & Daniel more Barlow!! Great legacy there!!
Potential for some great drama & yes I ageee it is always nice to see history referenced, something we rarely if ever got with Stuart Blackburn!!

I do like nods to the past on Corrie as the scriptwriters need to remember they've got almost 60 years of history that's made the show so successful over the years.
I think the next one will be the news of Hilda's passing which I think will come via Kevin but as she's hardly been mentioned since she left in 1987 I'm not sure how it'll be brought into the show.
I just thought how strange that he could just waltz into the factory past all the usual characters without at least one of them noticing, don't tell me they were actually concentrating on doing their work for a change.

Don't get why it is spoken like Corrie are suddenly acknowledging history when they reference the past plenty of times. Even Mike has been spoken of before, with Ken even commenting that Rob Donovan reminded him of Mike back in 2013.

Not only would he be unable to waltz into the factory and into the office without Sally, Sean, Beth or Jenny challenging him, but would the bottle of whisky be kept in the same file folder in the am place as when Mike Baldwin owned it?
Seem to remember the whisky bottle being taken out of a desk drawer during Carla's ownership.

Yes but some characters they have forgotten parts of their history, like Kevin Webster for instance.

No, for the simple reason that the factory burned down in 2010, way after Mike had died and even after Adam last saw it, so it will have looked different to him, although he didn't appear to acknowledge that!

His acting hasn't improved one bit, he couldn't even light his cheroot convincingly, it was embarrassing.
It was an awful scene, as well as the factory nonsense. It was some unbelievable indulgent rubbish. I'm going to choose to forget it and move on.
I'm hoping he won't be stuck back in the factory, being a solicitor and all, the place sucks the life out of anyone these days. I'd happily see the set bulldozed.

No I thought it was cringe worthy. The actor clearly is consumed with love for himself and it's quite nauseating to have to endure as a viewer. They should have recast the character with an actor that is less of a walloper.

Corrie logic will ensure that Adam forgets all about the life he has built up over the past nine years, return to his dead dad's old factory in an attempt to follow in his footsteps, and probably end up living in Ken's crowded home.

You mean that the character is consumed with love for himself surely? Unless you know the actor personally?
I'm guessing that the character is supposed to be an arrogant bastard just like his father which is why he is being played as such? It's a bit unfair to personally attack the actor who has barely any public profile to suggest that he is anything like his character.

I think we can. safely say that the actor is isn't skilled enough to pull of that level of smarm and self loving convincingly. I've seen the actor in a number of shows and it's the same performance. He's full of himself and pouts on screen. My boyfriend described him perfectly last: "horrid!"

The actor in question used to be in River City and as I said above it was the same performance. It's too much.
