Do you think it's time for Terry Duckworth to make another return to Coronation Street?

Naturally he still has family there in Tyrone.

Also friends such as Kev.

And is still recognisable to the masses, the street in my opinion needs a Duckworth.

No, definitely not. Time has moved on. Tyrone is hardly really his family. We've more than enough returnees as it is and the last thing Corrie needs is another pantomime villain coming and going, he'll turn into Corrie's version of Nick Cotton.

Corrie needs some well-defined and well-written new characters. Unfortunately they find that hard, so they resort to the easy option of returnees which gets them headlines.

I very much know the history of the show, thank you very much but Terry has already returned several times. The occasional bringing back of a departed character is fine but these days it's seen as an easy way to get some quick headlines. The show needs to look forward far more than it's doing. It's stuck in a time-warp and all these returnees don't help that situation one little bit.
