Louise Blackpool

She has been given an absolute corker of a dance and music for Saturday. So long as she doesn't fall over, she's bound to be top of the leader board.Remind me please, can anyone remember who her pro partner is?

I miss the rolling eye emoji a lot. Some people really need to find more useful ways to spend their free time...

Also, some of the dance residents here on the board said that the music is not that good. But, what are the facts in the face of irrational hatred?

Agree, it's been fine to death, but still continues.. Some people need to be able to ( in the words of frozen),

Let it go!

Oh are we going to hate on Louise? She's nice, she dances nicely, she has a nice family, seems to have a nice dancing partner, wears nice dresses, has nice hair.

All things nice.

And sometimes quiet is a welcome rest from the noise. So yeah, I hope she does really well.

Paso is a great dance for Blackpool, although not as good as a Quickstep or a Viennese Waltz. The music is not perfect (a bit slow?) but will work well in a Strictly context as it is dramatic.

So yes, I think they have got a good draw there.

I like Louise and would like her to win, so that Kevin finally gets that trophy!
Do you think he'll get a duffer after he wins though?

I kinda will forgive any Paso music choice for Kevin after he and Kellie had to dance their Paso to School's Out by Alice Cooper.
On tables.

I think it'll be a good dance - providing there's not any backing dancers (find them very unnecessary personally - don't know about anyone else??)

And if that is favouritism then I am a banana.

Poor Louise. Her crime seems to be being a pleasant woman who having accepted a job is trying to do her very best.

There are many opportunities to explore the Spanish bullfight theme through backing dancers. . We could have them dressed as castanets, fans, cigarettes (Carmen theme), bulls, horses, guitars, bottles of Rioja..............

LMSO especially the bottles of Rioja. Don't give them ideas for heavens sake.
