To be fair, the buyer did agree to buy 4 jet skis from them. He just didn't get past the "credit check" afterwards.
That itself would of been 60kish in sales on its own and probably would of won the task, its a bit of a cruel task as no matter how good a sales person you are and how many orders you get you could get shafted good style by things outside of your control.

Yes but if a salesman can't sell, there's not much of his CV left, and he hadn't shown anything else elsewhere. And at some point, whatever the partner does, will have to be sold to someone.

This week there's also the other questions that decide - does he stand up and deal with issues, will he do as he's told, will he accept blame, or hide problems, and can he spot and understand and think his way out of issues. Those, and judgement generally, are all very relevant to picking a partner.
Very true - so Sugar is going nowhere with this lot - because not one of them fit that bill.

Don't understand why they couldn't postpone filming of the task until the next day(s) either when it wasn't chucking it down, as Sugar mentioned the show went on and some of the jet skis were sold
Logistics, perhaps? All this must have been arranged months in advance, from Karren and Claude taking time off their proper jobs, through the jet ski and boat sellers giving their normal teams a day off, all the way down to arranging all-day parking spaces for half a dozen people carriers.

Alright! You've had all weekend and still no-one has owned up to pushing Lord Shugs overboard. EvilG. is not happy.

Admittedly, he was kinda asking for it, prancing up and down Poole harbour in a lime green mankini, but still...

(enjoy the visual image...they don't call me evil for nothing...)

Well if any of this lot made him walking the plank they would have put it facing the quayside so he could just step on to the dock

I watched the programme last night due to circumstances beyond my control.

Well, how I laughed!!!

Yet again, I just love the evidence that the candidates appear to have been shipped in from a land far far away and have never seen any of the previous series, nor do they have the capacity to retain information given from one task to the next.

The treat as well, come to think of it, will have had to have been booked well in advance, though as per the other thread about poor treats, I've forgotten what it was. Olympic gold canoeing -- was that this task or the one before? Anyway, the point stands -- there are too many pre-booked factors to allow tasks to slip a day.

And most likely the producers think its funnier to have the teams try to sell boats in the sleet and gales.

If you've booked all the camera crews and whatever to record the event then you're going to get your moneys worth. The event would of been booked months in advance so unless you are a weather wizard theres no real chance that you would know perhaps a few months ahead on the weather down at some point.

They should have took no notice for Michael Fish.

Just thought, where were all the other sellers/exhibitors? Were they all in a convention hall somewhere nice and warm away from the harbour? Normally when they're at a exhibition/show you see the others. It just seemed like the teams on their own on the dockside!
