I went to Karachi in 2008 with the navy. One of the worst places I've ever been to.

Goodbye Masood. It was an emotional exit but I'm so glad he and Denise parted on good terms and I loved his goodbyes to his loved ones. My favourite scenes were the final scenes with Dee and Jane. I loved his moment with Kush and I'm pleased they have mended their differences and remembered Zaair.

Lee's workplace bullying storyline is haunting to watch but I fear for his future when everyone inevitably finds out about the stolen money.

8/10

Good exit for Masood.

One thing that bugs me about EastEnders is that they don't adapt modern technology into the show. For example, Masood would probably have taken an Uber (or equivalent) rather than a black cab. But that's just my little quibble with the show as a whole.

They might not switch to the dark side in loving memory of Chaz Slater.

That was a great ending for Masood. The writing for his character has been pretty much consistently shite since Zainab left, but tonight felt like he was back to his original (great) character. Liked how everything was brought together.

I was low-key hoping for a surprise appearance from Zainab, but it wasn't to be. Fitting ending for his character nevertheless.

Sad though, for me, the Masoods at their peak were my favourite-ever family.

Awww, I am going to miss Masood it is a shame that Zainab didn't come back though, even if it was just for one/two episodes.

Oh Lee, that is really low, just as low as Jay stealing from a dead person.

Is this stabbing thing going somewhere? I wonder if Denny has anything to do with it.

Couple of nice scenes with Mas and Denise but the rest was a load of tosh.

Jane deserves nothing but misery... fortunately she's certain to get that married to Ian.

Lee walks out on his job, not that I blame him, and helps himself to a couple of hundred quid that he thinks will solve his problems. Mind you after all those naff birthday presents he's probably lost the plot altogether.

Jack has turned into an arrogant sh!t.😕

Poor Billy...I bet he was hoping that was one job he wouldn't get.

That was ancient exit for Masood. I enjoyed all of his scenes.

Great episode. I like how when Mas left, the taxi was last seen driving passed the Argee Bhajee - nice little touch.

Shirley saying she hadn't seen that much fake tan since Lola left, when the darts team walked in I'm glad Shirley is having a bit of a break after how much she was onscreen under DTC.

Kamil's -more or less- second Julia's theme in a year He also left with Tamwar and Nancy to Pakistan.

Thinking about it bringing Lola back would be sensible right now. Adding to Billy's Family unit seeing Lola and Honey and see how they would get a long Lexi will be able to start having speaking roles and Lola will bring happiness is Jay's life. I can see her being friends with Lauren,Whitney and Stacey. Maybe have her work in Beales (Imagine the drama she could cause) or maybe on the market her and Stacey on a stall?

Does Whitney work or just swan about putting pressure on Lee ?
And why so they all think Lee has some high powered job with no qualifications ?

The kid who died of a school stabbing was 11 years old. Jesus...

Aww, damn, the feels with Mas with Denise [x2] and then Jane tonight.

Argh, Whitney. Pushing the new house agenda even on his birthday, come on luv!

Lol, Ronnie should shoot before looking more often.

Lee. Stealing again isn't the answer!

Goodbye DILF Mas

Loved the episode - sad to see Mas go as he was one of my favourites, but thought his exit was actually well done. The only thing that let it down was Mas telling Jane she deserves to be happy - no she doesn't, she deserves to go to jail and rot in there. Though maybe that's a bit of foreshadowing as Max will be back anytime now. Think he'll do a Frank and just turn up with presents on Christmas day?

I don't like Lee or Whitney, but the depression storyline is being done well IMO. But I am amazed that Whitney thinks they have lots of cash after they just spent a fortune on the wedding. And as someone else posted, how can they believe Lee had managed to get a high powered job with no qualifications or previous work experience?

Jack really is a nasty piece of work these days, why the heck did they bring him back? I'm hoping after Ronnie has left that Charlie comes back for his son. Charlie and Ronnie were a much better couple till the scriptwriters got lazy and had him sleep with roxy.

And what about lovely Pearl?

I used to find the kids on EE annoying when it was the days of Tiffany, Morgan etc but most of the child characters in EE I actually really like!

Haven't been on much because busy with college but I thought Masood's exit was quite sweet and touching, made me sad

Aww the Mas scenes were lovely, even the ones with Beales on Wheels.

Lee got some shitty presents.

Jack 'I put my daughter in a wheelchair / only now do I gaf about my kids' shouting at Roxy about parenting..as Kim would say 'do me a favour'

Would make a great cliffhanger if its two 30min episodes!

Lovely emotional ending for Mas - as he deserved. Thank you SOC. Also thank you for investing in Denise and Patrick once more. I think you are facing an uphill battle to get us to like Jane again but fair dos, you are giving it your best shot!!

The Lee storyline is being dragged out a bit much for my liking but I liked it that Shirley is the only one who clocked that all is not right with him. I like her new hair do too.

At least we are now getting characters we care about, rather than one sensationalist plot after another with no character investment. There is plenty of excitement ahead anyway with Phil's liver and the Ronnie/Roxy exits.

I also laughed at Shirley's line about Lola and the fake tan. Please bring her back! She could be the making of Jay; interact with Billy's family and then there's Lexy - who is Ben's child. He needs to build a relationship with her, she could be the only child he ever has.

I agree with those saying bring Lola back. None of the other young characters are a patch on her and she'd be joining a great family.
