Kryssie tells Julie she knew it.

Nobody looked at her throughout the game (as a target) so she kind of thought America would see her as a goat.

Says she threw comps, but was embarrassed to admit it (oh, come on!).
Julie says why do you think Morgan and Jason received more votes?
She says because she thew the comps, she didn't need to win the comps, she manipulated things from behind the scenes.
Julie asks did she think Jason was a threat to take to final three?
Kryssie basically says she played personal, she's loyal in real life and she was in the game.

Still deluded.

Less than 20,000 votes separated the final two... The lead changed lots of times.

The winner is...

MORGAN!

Oh, my God! WHAT THE ****?!

I LOVE YOU, AMERICA.

Shelby SCREAMS at Morgan as she leaves the house! Jumping for absolute joy.

Cornbread, Alex and Monte join in the hug!

Shane looks absolutely gutted stood behind Julie. Jason in disbelief! Whitney looks gutted, ha, ha, ha!!!

Morgan still can't believe it. Alex and Shelby celebrating behind Julie, jumping up and down. Shelby is estatic!!! Keeps hugging Morgan.

Da'Vonne runs on stage and hugs Jason.

YES. YES. YES. I'm so happy.

We got knocked back every week but we won when it mattered! Go on, Morgan, you beauty!!!

First ever winner of BBOTT. Get in.

I know I'm going to sound like Kryssie here but...

I kind of thought maybe Morgan had won after their 'game recaps' at the start of the episode.
Jason's and Kryssie's felt... I dunno, a bit negative and flat, whereas Morgan's went from one game move to another and really explained her game in great detail.

I still thought Jason had got it when Julie was announcing the result, but the thought did cross my mind after seeing her recap.

Damn, I wanna see the jury react when Julie announces the result.

The SCREAMS were unreal, and when Morgan left the house, Alex, Shelby and Scott were all off their seats, hugging.

Once the titles rolled at the end as well, you can hear Shelby screaming "YOU WON! YOU WON!"

Their friendship is so great although, I'm sure Shelby's just as happy to see Jason lose
She looks like the person in the most shock... but you can tell they all thought Jason had it in the bag - himself included.

I keep replaying the winning moment. It's gold. Jason's face, the celebration on stage with the Plastics. Yes!!!

Screw you, Jason, that's what you get for being so nasty all series. Had you reigned yourself in, you'd have the whole thing wrapped up.

Screw the BB Alumni as well, all telling us to vote Jason! In your face

Cornbread, Monte, Scott, Alex, Shelby and Morgan FOR LIFE.

Yes, yes, yes. Love them all.

Cannot believe the Plastics/Ball Smashers/Team Long Shot fans pulled it out the bag!!!

Delighted is an understatement. So happy for Morgan. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes!!!

I'm in shock.

I wanna look at the Twitter meltdowns and other forums but I can't yet. It hasn't sunk in.

Jason got beat despite his massive advantage. I'm rolling on the floor laughing.

Last night, Jason and Kryssie were calling out Morgan's speech, saying she knows she ain't made a move and can't win this game. SUCK IT!!!

Survivor? What's that? Big Brother just had the greatest blindside of all time!
Even the viewers got blindsided.
YES!

It's been half an hour, I need to calm down

80 minutes later and I'm finally calming down a little bit...

What I will say is that finale was much better than the regular series. Not the result, well yes, the result, but I mean the format.

All houseguests were included and had some input, and we looked at the finalists games in quite a bit of detail, and got some best bits footage, too.

All squeezed into one hour, but it didn't feel too short, nor dragged out.

I find the regular finale very squeezed for time. The pre-jury don't even get to speak a word, whilst only a handful of jury members get to ask questions... overall it feels very rushed, despite being 30 - 60 minutes longer than this finale was.

I think they need to maybe ditch the part two competition recap for the TV series and try to fill that time with chatting to the ex-houseguests instead.
Dunno, it just felt a lot more like a finale, and was a bit more relaxed. I enjoyed hearing some of their views, but obviously it's more difficult with a jury seeing as they don't get to come out and watch.

Had a look on Twitter and some of Jason's fans are absolutely livid with the result

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this series, no matter how big or how small

Sorry I didn't contribute much, but five series (CBB, BBCAN, BBUK, CBB, BBUSA) was my limit and seeing how nasty this series was getting on social media as it progressed I thought "No thank you"

OMG?? Wait.. WHAT????!! Morgan won????? I can't believe it!!! I gave up on the season and couldn't face the finale as I was convinced Jason would win. I'm so shocked but so happy!!!! I'm gonna catch up over the weekend now!! What an amazing result. So pleased. Can't wait to see the meltdown on Twitter.

Thanks as always for the updates Reserved. I'll be back over the weekend for my final thoughts of the season.

Delighted with the result.

As a fan of bbuk, Jason should have been more aware of what turns viewers off. All the bashing of his fellow housemates was always likely to lose him a portion of his support. I suppose he couldn't help being himself.

I take comfort in the fact that if either Shelby or Alex had been in the final three in place of Morgan they would have won also.

A big thank you to Reserved for all the updates throughout the series. From the bits of live feed I've seen of the LNJ, you deserve a medal.

Super shocked but SO happy with the result. I screamed a yes when it said Morgans name then had to look online when I woke up because I thought I had dreamt it!!

Undeniable that Jason did play the better 'game' in-house but at the same time; he underestimated jury management not realising that shitting on so many people would impact his public votes as opposed to jury votes.

A lot of people voted Morgan due to an anti-Jason vote whereas aside from the delusional and blind Jason and Danielle Twitter fans who hate everyone against their faves, Morgan was a very inoffensive character and obviously had my full support just because Ballsmashers FTW!!!!!

I disagree that he played a better game - America played for him.

He won Veto when he needed to (week one and eight) but apart from that, he did about as much as he did in BB17 - very little.

His only solid ally was Kryssie. Having a couple of chats with Alex and Scott doesn't make him some sort of genius like he thinks it does.

Alex and Scott were terrified of going after him after seeing what happened to Monte, so they targeted his allies instead, otherwise he would've been gone by week three. Shelby wanted him out week six, America protected him by handing him co-HoH. Shelby wanted him out week seven, but didn't have the numbers to do it (Kryssie controlled Justin, not Jason). He was targeted many times which to me screams crap social game. Yes, he made the final three despite being targeted so many times, but that's simply because of America's protection.

Morgan's game might have been under the radar, but in many ways it wasn't any different than Jason's, except he had America's protection whilst she had her allies protection (they were her shields - which in my eyes is more worthy of winning than relying on America - it's an actual strategy, whereas he just lay in bed complaining, TELLING America to bail him out).

Jason made two big errors: evicting Alex over Morgan when Morgan hadn't received a care package, and being too stuck up his own arse to even think his attitude and behaviour might be off-putting to viewers.

Finally caught up and I still haven't calmed down from the result!! Final thoughts on the season,

- Amazing season, great cast and a great house divide (probably the best we've had, with the best end result).

- Too much America influence, they had way too much power. I like the care packages but they definitely shouldn't be able to name a third nominee. Would also like the American eviction vote to be scrapped but I could live with having that come back.

- No returnee players for OTT as it influences the game way too much and the new housemates are scared/unable to take them out as they will just get targeted themselves by America.

- Watching the comps live was a great thing but I found the comps overall too basic. I did miss the whole backyards transformations and the bigger competitions like OTEV. Also this season had a lot of timed competitions (too many imo), I prefer watching them battle out against each other.

- The finale was much better than the regular seasons finale as we got to hear from all the past houseguests in more detail. I did really miss the Jury vote though.

- Shelby's reaction to Morgan winning was so nice to watch (she seemed more happy and excited than her own sister!!). You can tell they have formed a real friendship and it's been so nice watching throughout the season.

- The plastics have been a great alliance and we've finally had an ALL GIRLS alliance that have stayed true to each other (minus Whitney) and actually played the game.

- Shelby has made it in my top 3 favourite BB players (along with Janelle and Britney).

- I would like to see a few of them come back to future BBs. Shelby definitely has returnee potential. I think Alex, Monte, Scott and Danielle could be good as returnees. Monte had his game unfairly ruined by America, all because he wanted to target Jason.

- If BB:OTT comes back (which I think it will), I think it should air a different time of the year. Having the regular season run from June - September and then OTT September - December is a bit overkill (not that I'm complaining). But they could space it out better and put it on earlier in the year, say Jan/Feb.

The care package ended strangely with someone getting it by default, which goes against the purpose of it I think. America's nom was definitely silly as the care package was enough. And the final 3 should have had a tough memory challenge to get to the final, having it only for the third place on offer seemed strange to me.

Not missing the jury that much, as the jury don't see as much of what goes on as some of the audience might either directly or by reading updates. It's natural for Big Brother to get back to the audience participating more.

Shelby was likely the fan favourite of the season. Alex was the gamebot favourite but that type (like Dan) don't really have much personality in comparison, and isn't that really what BB is about? People's character being revealed.

And gameplay on Big Brother is rather limited with a solid split, which I really think was caused by Jason. A returnee should definitely not be in the next one.

Jason acted pretty much the same way in BB17 so I'm glad more people saw how disgusting he is, still didn't think he'd lose though (very pleased about that )

I kept a casual interest in this throughout, watching various clips here and there. I'm usually not a fan of returnees competing against newbies anyway, but knowing how much BBOTT would rely on public vote it was verging on ridiculous.
There's also something about Jason's lazy entitled attitude that rubs me the wrong way.
So to see him screw himself over and fall short of the win made me do a little jig around the room.
But Morgan did her part too. Despite it being such an irregular format, it's interesting that the social game once again made a huge difference on the end result. Morgan remained respectful throughout (at least as much as you can be) thereby not alienating the 'jury' which this time happened to be the viewers. She was also a rootable underdog and was clearly going to mop up the Ball Smasher votes.

Since he's a huge fan of BBUS and apparently BBUK too, Jason really read the situation and the psychology of public voting all wrong, especially leading up to the final. Falling out with Justin and assuming Morgan would be the easier one to beat was perhaps the final nail in the coffin of Jason's game. Perhaps Justin had more individual fans than Morgan, but with Justin in the final the line between fanbases would be somewhat blurred, there wouldn't be any concentration of Ball Smasher fans for instance.

Overall I think this end result has breathed new life into BBOTT and its future, as it's shown that you have to expect the unexpected. The mood of the public can change on a whim. Though I hope there is less public influence in future, I say get rid of the public's 3rd nominee at the very least as that is just too much influence.

Jason probably relied on the support he already had, turned out that wasn't quite enough.
