Please will ED get rid of the deplorable Kerry she is making it impossible for me to watch. The storyline at the moment is ludicrous,do any of these writers know what it's like to work in a factory for one thing they have to actually WORK and they would be instantly sacked if they spoke to the owners like they do.Its the same on CS it's spoiling watching I find I'm missing episodes and not bothering to catch up as they're so bad. I think ED would improve 100% if they got rid of Kerry for good as she is such a horrible character with not one readeeming feature and if I was Dan I wouldn't want her within miles of me and especially his young daughter.

I think it's only right that her fellow Geordies Ant and Dec should pop up in the Dales and abduct Kerry and throw her in the "I'm a Celeb" jungle.

I would very much like to see the Funnel Web Spiders being let loose on Kerry.

Maybe Adam Barton could take pictures of her ghastly death and send them back to the village for everyone to see.

The character of Kerry changed a lot under the Kate Oates regime, she became likeable when she was with Dan and working in the salon while developing with other characters...

I am taking it this is the new EP who has turned her back into a comedy character... the thing is we have been there before (as has every man in the village) and it just is not funny in the slightest... if anything she is even worse than before. I mean is there now a house in the village that she has not stayed in, she has been homeless about five times in the last three weeks... it's really taking the rise now with her, it's unbearable really

The new producer does seem to be a fan of unfunny comedy.

Kerry's well past her sell-by date, in fact she's so rotten she's got mould growing on her.

Comedy character? She's nasty, vicious and fraudulent. What she's doing to the Sharmas is horrible and hard to watch.

She's turned into a horrible panto character the kind you see in Corrie.

All this compo talk and the neck brace, wheelchair etc - didn't Cilla Battersby try this years ago?

Can't stand her and the scenes with her and the Sharmas has my toes curling because she is meant to be comedic but they're treating it as serious. So I don't know as a viewer how to take this storyline.

Get rid!

Isn't she supposed to be diabetic too? The amount of chocolate & alcohol she's downed etc are surely beyond?

I'm hoping after last night, given the chocolate bunny scoffing and wine she was hoying down her neck that she slips into a diabetic coma and dies.

It's a waste of a good actress but they have turned her into a proper irritating silly cow who takes no responsibility for her actions. She was like that when she first arrived but definitely improved.

It is, but they are so incredibly stupid and incompetent that they deserve it! I hate the Sharmas almost as much as Kerry atm - especially Rishi who is turning into a foolish, wobbly blancmange.

I liked the toned down version of Kerry and found her and Dan to be a really good match. I'm really not sure why they regressed her so much, it doesn't seem to be heading anywhere.

Yeah got to go now, they've ruined her

Last night's episode was grim, yet again it was Kerry mouthing off at everyone, kerry demanding money from the Sharma's again and her last scene Kerry pissed and eating chocolate again. Sadly even if they were trying to go anywhere with this story and it was actually a preamble to some big story involving Kerry no one would care now.

I've never been a fan of Kerry but I would turn the TV over when she was onscreen following Zak and Joannie getting together as she was awful to Lisa and Belle in my opinion.

She is awful, and I just refuse to believe people behave like that in real life,! Awful character and awful storyline. I fast forward through her scenes as she is too stroppy and is totally unlikeable. Sort it out Emmerdale

After a hard day, I settle down to watch TV for entetainment. How can any producer present the vulgar, gross character of Kerry-man as entertainment? I wonder how many viewers have stopped watching the show since it has become Kerry-mandale, bordering on the pornographic?

I agree. It is a shame that this sort of thing is passed off as comedy and the worrying thing is that the powers that be seem to thing that female characters are the best vehicle for this sort of thing - First we had Charity and her nasty remarks coupled with an overplayed grimace, and the the oh so hilarious play acting to con someone. Now the new loveable rogue is Kerry, having turned from a character with flaws and depth to just being someone's idea of a funny woman.

I remember the grief she gave Dan when he kissed Nicola, but she expected him to overlook her behaviour which was far worse. Instead of seeing her try to repair the damage she has now been set up as a someone who thinks they are one of life's victims and should get what they can. Viewers may be expected to laugh and wish her well, but the reality is is she is a complete turn off.

She's getting more and more annoying in every episode ,this whole current S/L with Kerry and the Sharma's has gone beyond Ludicrous all it's doing is making me want to switch off for good ,there's nothing remotely believable or Comedic in it

The character is in the wrong soap. She does not fit into ED She would work better as one of those OTT characters in HO. A long lost relation of the McQueens or something.

I used to like her but now I'm sick to death of her and Dan as well.

She wasn't in it last night, we got a welcome break from her, but I doubt she's in a diabetic coma as I've seen her in photos laughing in the factory, which is annoying in itself.

Couldn't agree more, I actually liked her when she was with Dan and loved her relationship with dans daughter. Now well it's painful to watch.
