No need to get rid. Just change the scripts.

All her problems started when she was sexually abused by DRoss Barton.

She's getting more and more annoying in every episode ,this whole current S/L with Kerry and the Sharma's has gone beyond Ludicrous all it's doing is making me want to switch off for good ,there's nothing remotely believable or Comedic in it
I agree, get rid and fast. And get rid of the awful writers at the same time. The story lines they throw at us and expect us to take it is beyond belief.

I would like to see a picture of the Emmerdale script writers and storyliners; I suspect they are about 12 years old. The casting team also need to go; how they could have employed Kerry-man and Tracey as 'actors' needs to be explained.

Not so long ago, Kerry was one of the more popular characters, so why are people now shouting for her to be axed?

If she was once loved, then surely the problem isn't so much her but the producers and writers that have gone down the wrong path with the character? It's their mistake, they should be the ones to go.

I've always been in two minds about Kerry, but it's sad to see a character that use to get high praise become totally unpopular with pretty much everyone, all because the producer is clueless and more suited to Hollyoaks.

Was the gross Kerry-man ever a popular figure, Reserved? I have loathed her ever since her first appearance . The character might fit in to another sort of programme, the sort that I wouldn't watch, but she doesn't fit into the rural village soap erhos.

Although I've never liked Kerry to begin with, my personal dislike aside however I'd be the first to admit that she did get some decent character development and earned her place in the village.

But now that they've thrown all that out the window and regressed her into a much worse caricature than when she first arrived, I now hate her as much as when Maurel first came to existence (yes I went there).

As some of you have already said, Kerry was nice with Dan. This was especially true not just in her friendly support of Amelia but also in how they befriended and tried to help Ruby to the end.

With Kate's successor splitting them up, this is helping me have 1/2 hour extra time to myself a night by avoiding watching Emmerdale.

Kerry's well past her sell-by date, in fact she's so rotten she's got mould growing on her.
I like her, I know women who have similar issues and they're not bad people just misguided and unable to deal with the scary adult world

Exactly, don't really think someone losing their job is called for.

The new producer does seem to be a fan of unfunny comedy.
It's utterly farcical isn't it!

Very true.

Obviously I can't speak for everyone else but for me personally everytime I hear an actor got axed, even if they're playing a character I absolutely despise, I can't help but feel sad for them. In the back of my mind I just keep thinking "That poor person just lost their job."

I do agree. I just wish they'd kick the writers up the arse as it's really their fault kerry has become such a horrible character.

Saying that if a producer decideds to axe a character unfortunately it's the nature of the business the actor is in but axinga character on the basis of social media would be ridiculous

I know of someone who was to be told this morning that he's been fired. All I could think of earlier was him travelling to work without knowing what was about to hit him. Such a lovely bloke too.

Me too. Kerry is an absolute idiot but she is practically an angel compared to him.

I agree that it's not really the actress who is at fault for Kerry's current annoyingness. It's the writers who need the bullet.

Very true, don't blame the actress one bit. She's only doing what the script is telling her to do.

Oh don't get me wrong I'm fully aware of how tough the nature of the business is. Still makes me sad though.

Completely agree with you about axing someone based on the social media aspect, just the absurdity of it hurts my brain.

So sorry to hear that, sincerely hope he finds a much better job really soon.

I really enjoy watching her! She makes me laugh! Perhaps it's because I have only been watching for six months and I haven't grown tired of her yet.

She is single handedly destroying the programme at the moment, everyone here walks away from the tv when she comes on with her ridiculous storylines, I expect we will soon just not bother to watch anymore.

She was horrendous when she appeared, then she was OK ish, then she when she went full on slapper it all fell apart and now every story surrounding her takes the mick.

Totally agree. Never liked the character, apart from being a crass vulgar embarrassment, she's one of those grasping parasitic sorts who thinks the answer to every mistake, mishap and unfortunate occurance is to immediately see pound signs instead of being responsible for her own pointless self. That alone makes her the absolute lowest of the low without all of her other many, many unsavoury qualities.
