How do they get away with this? I HATE bugs but the thought of ripping their heads off and ingesting them's pretty...cruel?

I can remember a few years ago one of the contestants could feel the insect climbing back up his oesophagus so they're not always dead before they're eaten.

I expect the argument will be that millions of insects get eaten everyday anyway but i agree it somehow seems wrong to be done for purely entertainment reasons.
