Hi,

I recently bought a data cable to connect my SE K700i to my computer. Well I had a few problems to say the least in trying to get the Sony Ericsson software to work. So I gave up, and after searching for alternatives I found this.

http://fma.sourceforge.net/

It is fantastic. All the features are somewhere on the website but the big one for me is how much control you have over your phone and the much higher transfer speeds than SE's software.

It works with all connections; IR, BT and data cable.

So if you're having problems with the SE software or are fed up with really slow transfer speeds I suggest you try it - I'm very impressed.

You still need to install or have installed the drivers for your phone or device that connects it to your computer for this to work.

By the looks of it it only works wit Sony Ericsson phones but I spose you could try it with other brands.

Here and the mirror links to download it: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/f...p.exe?download

(This software is free and I didn't make it...even though I wish I could .)

I was really impressed - the SE software is pathetic. Its really simple and it takes a lot of effort to get it working.

SE should fund floAt to develop this!
