Am I the only one who did not enjoy having all the background dancers tonight?

Ed Better Go

I really don't understand why people are voting for Ed. He was a laugh to begin with, now it's just ridiculous that he's still being marked on entertainment value, and not dancing content.

I am bringing Salsa, chips , a pecan pie, and some refreshments while we are waiting for the result

Help yourselves

Question : Can Danny still be in the dance off even if he is at the top of the leaderboard ?

Me too - what a nailbiter of a match!

Very unlikely for Danny to be in the Dance off.

It would have to be a complete reversal of the public vote and Danny be rock bottom which is unlikely.

I think its just the series in general TBH.

I said on the show thread. If it was any other series DS would be slating Ed like they did with Ann / Lisa Riley.

Louise / Ore / Daisy etc are just seen as bland and TBH I don't blame them. However, I appreciate decent dancing.

No you are not the only one. I thought they just got in the way and were distracting.

I felt like I watching a different show. Apart from Danny's timing issue, Louise smiled through her Paso and Claudia was frantically keeping up. Samba issue all over again. I loved Ore's showman dance. Like Jake Wood's amazing AS the other year. That's probably my favourite Blackpool dance

Rick Astley on the morra!

Wonder if Peter Kay will come back on again?

No you're not. There really isn't any need for them but for some reason TPTB feels Blackpool needs them

If the poll on my site is any reflection on voting we're looking at this possibly

Name/Judges/Public

Ed 2+5=7
Greg 3+1 =4
Robert 4+2=6
Claudia 5+4=9
Ore 6+3=9
Danny 7+7=14
Louise 6+6=12

Which would make a Greg V Robert Dance Off

However bad some of the dancers and dances are, thank your lucky stars you're not watching the absolute pile of tripe that is X factor

I think this looks about right. Except Rinder will most likely beat Ore in the vote. Could be close between Ed / Rinder / Claudia for who joins Greg in the dance off.

Even the top of the leaderboard can in theory get the joint lowest score... needs to be the lowest public vote in reality and then ANY of the others can join him depending on who gets the second lowest vote. Could get second lowest and joint low also in certain circumstances

Really wouldn't be surprised if that was the case

Who would the judges save?

I feel like the backing dancers is the one universally agreed thing on this forum that they're bleeding awful.

But I don't want to see people who can already dance and/or leave me cold. You can see from the training videos that Ed puts the work in, even if he has hit a personal ceiling. Can you imagine Ann Widdicombe or even John Sergeant working to the same degree?

Hi all - Three Christmas cakes made this week and one cut up to be taste tested with Prosecco on tap.

I enjoyed the nod to the mannequin challenge during Ore and Joanne's dance, but sadly not overly blown away by Blackpool this year, although Peter Kay was a high point.

As much as I love Louise, I reckon they would choose her over Ore as she is a definite favourite of the judges! Let's hope it doesn't come to that tho!!

I doubt it will happen. I think he is safe; at least I hope so.

Not always. Tbh I watched Neil more than I did Greg in the latter's routine!

I just don't get it though.

He is like the Lisa Riley / Russell Grant of this series and the forum loves him . I find him awful to watch.

I enjoyed him for the first couple of weeks but now its beginning to become awkward.
