I agree, but I really wish that Ed had gone this week rather than Greg. I hope Ed goes next week.

The "viewing public"are not putting Ed through. Only a very small percentage of the viewing public are. Most people don't vote. Therefore if the majority don't want to see Ed in the final, they won't watch.

I'm gutted Greg's gone, he's the true underdog this series and was trying so hard to improve.

I'll miss Natalie too.

Meh, wouldn't have been sad whoever went, claudia isn't really standing out and greg is too inconsistent. I'm just hoping Danny and Rinder reach the final.

Well who's fault is that then! If they don't vote in a show that it is decided by viewer votes, how can they complain if the people they want to see aren't there?
And there will be two others there anyway.
Personally, I think it's self-regulating anyway and doubt Ed will make it all the way to the final when there are less people to split the vote between.

You are so right....of course Ed has got there by the viewing public...I love the fact that he is there.

For once we have someone who has never danced and though not brilliant you can see how well he is doing...good for him.

Well who is voting for Ed then?

I think it will go the other way...I believe that many people will want to see someone who is on a journey and learning to dance from day one...especially someone who has never danced.

I do not know if he will win or not...but fair play to the man.

Greg was the same and better than Ed, but without the same entertainment factor. But as far as the weaker ones all go, it does not matter to me in what order. I had higher hopes for Greg, but it did not happen. Still, that QS was pretty amazing for a complete beginner.

If people are suggesting Louise gets a good chunk of football votes, then those who worked with Ed politically may also be inclined to vote for him!

Haven't seen the dance off obviously but going on the first show I would have saved Greg. The judges scored Claudia higher though so they didn't really have a choice but to save her. That's fair enough given her previous performances but I really thought she was worse than him yesterday though she may well have upped her game in the dance off.
Sad to see Greg go ... such a trier and for a beginner he did really well. Not to be for Nat again this year!

Dont know who is voting for Ed but the BBC have already gone into damage limitation

its the first Sunday morning he has not been the lead story of SCD on the BBC homepage

ever since this years SCD started ED has had the main story on Sat nights and Sunday mornings this morning the three stories are about Danny, Ore and Louise

Maybe they just wanted him through to Blackpool, I expect next week he will be first on, get ordinary music, no 'funny' moves and Craig complements then hopefully he will exit

And a score which moves him up the table and seemingly safe,. That would someone like Danny or Louise need to be very low down to make viewers who are interested vote for them not Ed.

I laugh at conspiracy theorists usually, but the terrible overmarking of Claudia last night did make me think. However, I also think that the BBC will be gutted when Ed goes - he really is the 'talk about' factor in this year's show - on twitter, online and in the newspapers. When he goes the interest factor (for good or for ill) will drop considerably.

Well if the Judge and Claudia go over the next couple of weeks, Ed will be getting my votes.

Ive decided this year that I am supporting people who haven't had any dance experience so not Louise or Danny. I don't particularly like Ore so it would only leave Ed. Give him his due, he puts his heart and soul into the whole thing.

Puts hard hat on and slopes off

It will...many only watch to see what Ed is going to do next.

I am not saying that the show ratings will plummet...but I know people that watch it just for him and have never watched it.

Re votes .......... I had not thought about that side of it, but where do we think Greg's votes will go to now ?

Or will people not bother to vote now he is out ?

I was listening on the radio this dinnertime and the presenters were saying that they have a feeling Ed will win...as it is the year of the underdogs...what with Brexit and Trump.

We will have to wait and see.

I forgot to say earlier:
thank you for the spoiler.

And: I have never voted Labour. I vote for Ed because he puts his heart and soul into his dancing. He and Katya have a perfect partnership, and he has improved week by week IMO.

Agreed.

They won't fall at all.
The ratings go up and up through every series as the competition progresses and we get closer to the final. They will do that whether Ed Balls is there or not - as they usually do.

Mine will go to Judge and Claudia. Will decide at the time who will get two and who will get one.
