Danced extremely badly! I reckon my dog could do a better jive than that
If it can, why are you watching Strictly and not making a fortune with your dog having it's on show on ITV?

Hang on a minute though, I have previously suggested that with all the recent changes, they only have to add pets next year to make it a proper Dog & Pony show.

Why not give Louise Rainbow a call?

Wow!

While this isn't aimed at me I find this post disgustingly condescending!
Did you? I thought it rather kind. Just goes to show doesn't it?

I think Greg was very likeable, and having a decent stab at it as somebody coming in with zero experience. I was voting for him and would have liked him to go further. But not everybody feels the same and he got fewer votes, that's just the way the show goes *shrugs*. No good tying yourself up in knots with all the "why?"s and "what-if"?s
He's gone, I've moved on and will throw the extra votes to Ed or Judge R.

Peter Andre's jive was abysmal, no doubt about it. But didn't he get 9s and 10s from the judges? Is somebody going to tell them it wasn't a jive?
I think there was so much fuss last year about the judges putting Peter through over Jamelia made it pretty clear to the judges what the majority of the public thought of their views on Peter's so called jive.

Don't forget we had to listen to Len lying through his teeth on It Takes Two that he genuinely thought Peter did the better dance in the dance off!

Wasn't my intention, but as it wasn't aimed at you, I really don't care. You're entitled to your opinion, I merely felt for the person I was aiming it at, as they are wasting so much anger at the wrong audience.

And disgustingly condescending? There's plenty more to be disgusted about in the world, Ponty. Seriously. It's not in my nature to be condescending, nor disgusting.

Len saved Jamelia.
Come off it, Monkseal, didn't Len wait for the other three so-called judges to lick Andre's jivefree fundament before adjusting his flickering halo and, with one of his more sickening grins, saying he would have saved Jamelia? Julius Caesar had a finer send-off.

Well yes, but I'm just saying that he didn't at any point, either on the show or on It Takes Two, say that Peter danced better in the dance-off. Even if he only ditched him to cover his own arse he still ditched him, at least in spirit.

When the Tories won the General Election last year, "everyone" who disagreed said Tory voters were mad. When Brexit won this year "everyone" who disagreed said the voters were mad. When Donald Trump won, "everyone" who didn't vote for him said the electorate were mad.

Ed is still in, because every single voter is entitled to their opinion. Whether it's the same as ours or different, it's not wrong, it's just their opinion. And enough people are of the opinion that Ed Balls should stay, which is why he has.

I love watching Ore and Danny but at the end of the day, it's an entertainment show, and I continue to be entertained every Saturday - and long may Strictly continue. Huge thanks, as ever, for our result, and for the people who make this thread possible.

Am I the only person who thinks that Claudia's ugly black high heeled shoes may have been the reason she could not dance the jive comfortably? The judges may have see the beginnings of good foot movements, but when I rewatched it, I saw caution, because at any moment she could have turned her ankle. For a gymnast that's serious.
If she had only been allowed to wear sneakers or flat pumps, I think you would have seen the jive the judges saw was potentially there, and that explains their dance-off decision.

I really don't want to get into 'politics' in this thread BUT, never in my wildest dreams did I think I would vote Labour. But I'm not afraid to admit I vote for Ed. Each week he does his best to entertain us and gives it his all. I think that he is the best 'no-hoper' we have seen in a long time. Yes he may be a bit ploddy at times but as Bruno said the steps are there. Of course he will never be as good as Louise, Danny etc but I really look forward to seeing him each week. Also what a good start for Katya in SCD, she is so good with him and has taught him how to master some of the steps.
