I wouldn't mind him being a motormouth if he ever said anything profound once in a while, but it's all just banal verbal diarrhea.

I just wanted to smack him one throughout the live trial, he is just like my Dad he thinks it is funny to wind people up all the time and he thinks he is it when in reality he just talks a load of crap, i bet if anyone tries it on with him he will take his bat home as he can give it but can't take it.

I doubt it. A lifelong millwall supporter, I'd imagine that he's had a few 'fisticuffs in his time. He's an old bloke now so a younger man would be able to beat him up, but I'd imagine he would still be up for a fight.

Rubbish. Being a Millwall supporter does not equate with fighting no matter what the papers would have you believe.

Anyway, I like Danny. I find him clever and amusing and have done for the last 30 odd years.

Will be very interesting to see how far he pushes this game plan.

Obviously came on with a view to be unpleasant and put a spanner in the works. I really hope this doesn't end up being another Lady C though. That was just too much.

Well i wasn't meaning an actual fist fight, i was more thinking he would sulk after a verbal confrontation. I think your right he would still put up a fight physically.

I'm liking Danny, not sure what all the fuss is about. I found Martin much more intolerable tonight.

Danny Baker seems to have quite remarkable delusions of grandeur considering he's mostly known to the public for harassing wives on their doorsteps while clutching a box of budget washing powder, presenting Pets Win Prizes and drinking pints with Chris Evans in 1995 and helping enable Gazza's tragic slide into alcoholism all in the name of some good 'laddish hi-jinks'.

The guy seems to think he's some kind of national treasure. He is very much mistaken. A boorish oaf. A blow hard. The way he was celebrating that trial win just now, punching the air like he had won the FA Cup was cringe inducing television. His last 'contribution' to popular culture? An advisor on Chris Evans Top Gear, one of the biggest disasters in the history of television.

An insufferable tit of the very worst kind with his 'cockney sparrow' routine. Piss off Danny. Hardly anyone even knew who you were when you walked in.
Well said 🙂 I can't stand his arrogance, ego and his holier than thou attitude! He totally ruined tonight's program for me. Whoever signed him up needs sacked.

He's a windbag and has a very high opinion of himself, but on top of that he seems to be deliberately playing to the cameras and trying to wind people up.

It'll be interesting to see if he mellows a bit and we see the real him. But I suspect he may just keep up the "performance" the whole time.

Rubbish. He's probably best known for script writer on original TFI, 606, Saturday radio 5live show & Cradle to the Grave - funny & irreverent guy

Sorry didn't mean to quote you!
Oh yeah! My mistake. The entire viewing public collectively went 'Oh it's that guy who wrote scripts for a Chris Evans show in the mid-nineties and talks about whether ketchup or brown sauce is better on the radio between 10-12 on a Saturday morning'.

It was all going so well wasn't it..... it was like The Waltons meets the jungle, and then then put Danny and Martin in. Martin (who I love on HUTH) whined like a little girl when he was forced to eat rice and beans for ONE night, but Danny ....ohhhhhh..... he is doing my head in already. Either that's the way he is anyway, or he was given a brief by producers to cause friction. I am sorry for his illness and glad he has recovered, but oh boy..... he is going to be a source of tensions and rows in there, and if she not careful, Goldilocks Vorderman will end up the same way by association. I can see them manipulating the vote to ensure Danny does not go first..... they will want to get their money's worth out of him from causing trouble in there.

Have you ever watched the show before? Being a pain in the arse does not mean you will be first out. That will be the deadwood who float along in the background.
Danny will be in for a while. I hope so anyway as I like him.

I was quite looking forward to seeing him, but he doesn't know when to shut up, and he is far more confident than he has reason to be. I've had enough of him already. I've never heard of Martin before. I've also had enough of him already.

I really didn't like the way he went into camp and straight away started telling all the celebs that Scarlett was the star of the edit and they all might as well go home 'coz she's already won it.

I used to quite like Mr Baker but over the years I've just come to find him obnoxious, pretentious and boorish. I don't think this show is going to change my opinion

I like Danny, he has always been good for a laugh down the years, but I don't think he will work on this show. I was really enjoying the group, watching them get on so well, and they all seemed equal. Now, here comes Danny, who will be heard and will have something to say, whether you like it or not.

Hope it doesn't work out like that though.

He's not outspoken - he's just bloody noisy and loves the sound of his own voice. He's said nothing of worth!
You're typing words into an internet forum shelia.

Equivalent to throwing stones in a glass house when criticising a public figure of sayng nothing of worth!
