Not sure with another slow number, even if it is amazing vocally and arranged

God that sam smith song is just one long, drawn out moan of boredom.

Could they not find a single, uplifting song for him.

Saara is done, its a song that is so cliched it does not matter how well she sings it, it will be seen as stale.

Ryan, no doubt he will be miraculously singing consistently as the microphone waves around while he tries to imitate Elvis the Pelvis.

Emily gets a slow song. What a surprise.

How the heck can 3 boys and a backing track do Otis?

And honey G. Same crap every week, so it hardly matters what the song is meant to be in the first place.

I think looking at the song choices this week Ryan will be a gonna finally with Saara in the Sing off and it being 3-1 for Saara to stay

Looks like Matt, Saara and Emily are being thrown under a bus with those song choices

Matt has the perfect song choice.. just listened to Sam's version online and a couple of other covers from X-Factor Aus and ITA of the same song and if Matt works with his full voice plus falsetto he will slay this song.. could be the performance of the night by a mile. his song has the potential to actual go somewhere.. the others.... not so much...... Saara and Emily songs are very outdated .

looks like the much speculated and hyped up Ryan V Emily sing off will be scripted, sorry, happening this weekend then........

The Man that is Honey G, as I said on another thread will not face a single sing off for the simple reason he/she cant sing.

Think Saara and Matt will smash their songs this week I predict one of them will close the show. 5 After Midnight have a good song choice abit over done but think they will do it justice.

For me they are playing it far to safe with Emily 7 slow songs! Bore off!

Ryans basically well under that bus this week!

As far Honey it will be another big production (secretly she has become my guilty pleasure)

Think it will be Emily vs Ryan this weekend

Yawn @ Saara's song choice, vocally she'll be flawless with it, but so safe, anybody could have called her singing that last week when the theme was chosen.

someone compared emily to this girl from XF US a couple of weeks ago and always remember thinking how creepy this looked having a 14 year old girl singing this to simon in his back garden

I can see why Ryan wasn't happy at first before they told him to pipe down and fake beinf ok with it. Taking on The King is a daunting task, and he absolutely will not be able to pull it off.

Saara will do a great job with My Heart Will Go On, but everyone is so sick of that song that I'm not sure it'll be enough to save her from being bottom again. I tend to mute the radio / TV whenever this comes on...

Matt looks to be the only one of this bunch who's been done justice to by this song choice, I think it will suit him really well and it's still a fairly recent song. Everybody else has been bunged with dusty old cliches.

This song is perfect for Matt.. if he was gonna sing any song for movies, it was gonna be this one. I think this is the week where he'll finally have his moment! As for the others, well it just depends how they do..

I can't believe Ryan is doing Elvis. He's going to be roadkill for Sunday!

Emily doing another slow song. Colour me shocked.

Matt is singing Sam Smith? Ouch! That's a little overambitious, to say the least. He must think he's a far better singer than he is, or he's being told he's far better than he is. Talk about punching above your weight!

Wow they really are aiming for that Emily v Ryan bottom 2 with those song choices. Matt's song choice is hideous. It's one of the worst Bond themes ever and he doesn't have the vocal ability to pull it off. Saara will be safe I think. Although her song choice has been done to death, she should be able to pull it off vocally to impress people.

I think you need to go to SpecSaver - Honey G is clearly a woman

Looking at those songs, I think this will be the weekend when we get the much anticipated ('cos it's been so predictable innit ) Ryan Vs Emily bottom two. It's what the producers wanted, and thus is what they will get.

Ryan goes home.

Matt Vs 5AM in the bottom two would be a nice little surprise as it wouldn't be the result I expected but alas this is The X Factor...

Honey G and Ryan bottom 2 surely

so much for Emily wanting to do a upbeat song, why won't Simon listen to her? Instead he making her look like a one trick pony. Still I think it will be good.

Other song choices seem safe and dull.

I predict Ryan to go this week.
