I thought so - that is the closest mast to that location that would possibly cover Eye/Eye Green. That really needs to have B20, though in an ideal world EE need to install a mast closer (there are plenty of fields close to Eye Green!).

Most masts along A11 stretch also 4G'ed with one still using orange antennas with Orange network code for 2G. A1066 route I'm not sure of as not been that way for a while.”
Hmmm, EE sure do like their 2G/4G masts don't they?

Unless they plan on adding 3G at a later date. When I was on the A1066 last time, 3G coverage was very poor and there was a lot of Orange 2G masts in that area. Not been that way for a couple of years so hoping that they have added 3G and 4G to those masts!
I don't know why EE are going for a 2G/4G approach. Maybe it is to do with planning applications (as 3G needs a separate cabinet), or maybe it is to try and hinder Three by not MBNL'ing the mast? Though having said that, if the lawsuit that Three filed in Summer 2016 is found in Three's favour then EE may be forced to MBNL/3G all of their masts.
The orange network code for 2G would be for fallback for Three customers, so assuming this is temporary until Three get 3G/4G. I believe that EE want to completely abolish the Orange code and have all of the masts under the same network code, as it'd be better for customers (most EE SIMs tend to ignore Orange masts unless there is nothing else to use).

EE do have a mast quite close to the center of thorney though at the moment it is Orange EDGE only.
EE/3 do have 3G (and maybe 4G, but can't be certain) from two masts on either edge of Thorney, at each end of the dual carriageway (Thorney Bypass) road. Coverage should be ok (especially when the Orange EDGE mast is 3G/4G'ed).
