he does have some similarities to Callum imo

Not saying hes a bad actor but Adam would probably work better as a nicer character as he doesnt convince me as "cocky with swag", and Callum was unconvincing as a wannabe gangsta drug dealing thug, Sean Ward didnt fit that type, a Luke type character would of fitted him better

I've missed several episodes. Who is Adam? I remember Daniel being ken's son with Denise but I've no memory of Adam? Who are his parents?

Ken's grandson. Parents are Ken's daughter Susan and Mike Baldwin.

He's Ken grandson (who bizarrely is older than Daniel who is Ken's son) Ken's daughter Susan (Peter's twin sister) was his mother and Mike Baldwin was his dad.

His entire existence was a retcon in 2001 when it was revealed Susan had secretly given birth to Mike's baby in 1988 when in actual fact she had an abortion onscreen at the time.

I like Adam glad he is back.

Adam is ten times better than Callum IMO. Yeah he's cocky but he's not a plastic gangster.

The worst thing about Callum was the fact that he bullied people around but had absolutely nothing to back it up. Adam at least seems to have a brain.

I don't find Adam annoying like Callum, in Callum case he was a thug with death wish.

I remember him from his previous stint, unfortunately I cannot understand a word he says. I don't normally struggle with the Scottish accent but he talks very quick and I strain to listen. Its really hard work and I had hoped they would have changed the actor.

Adam is better looking than Callum. He also has charm and class, whereas Callum was a nasty chavvy lowlife.

Adam should not rein you of Callum, as he is a better actor, more likeable and totally different personality.

Callum was the better actor. the bloke playing Adam seems like he's full of himself, so basically he's playing himself, whereas Callums problem was the kind of character he was, as i said if he was a nicer character he would of been better cos i don't think Sean Ward is a bad actor, he just couldn't play "menacing/threatening" well

i know everyone hated Callum, but if they hadn't of brought him in, we would never of had Gemma! (The best character in the show )

It was mentioned by Sam that the way Adam is could be a front. I'd prefer him to be like Todd in that way - trying to hide how he really feels about life.

Adam reminds me of a taller version of Todd.

I'd imagine that Adam is not all that he seems, it just wouldn't make sense. If he's loaded where's all the money that he appears to have come from? He seems to be flashing the cash but is it all from being a hot-shot lawyer or whatever he happens to be? It's only two years since Ken returned from looking after him for a year because of an illness - presumably he wasn't able to work during that year. I don't recall Ken speaking much about it after his return but he must know a lot about Adam from that lengthy stay, so I'd hope all of this will get addressed before long.

Plus there was the mysterious searching through Ken's drawers....

I think he's a solicitor. I agree, it's good that Adam being looked after by Ken has been mentioned already, but having a year off with sickness must have some sort of effect on Adam.

I think Adam is better than Callum.

He did but that was ten years ago and he subsequently opened a bookies in Portsmouth with Peter. He must have used some or all or those funds for that.

Peter's history suggests that the business in Portsmouth failed pretty quickly after and he returned to Weatherfield a year or so later, where he bought the local bookies using money that Simon's mother Lucy had left to him on Simon's behalf.

It's all rather confused to say the least!

Adams so much better than Callum, callum was the worst villain carries ever had.
