Kat is the only really great Slater. If she returns I'd love to see a family unit build around her because she'd make an ideal matriarch, but if Kat never comes back I don't mind seeing the Slaters die out.

Stacey,Jean,Sean,Zoe,Little Mo were all very successful even Belinda. It was Lynne who was needing storylines.

I'd love to see Zoe back too. If MR doesn't want to return then perhaps it's time for a recast with a similar looking actress? It worked well for Martin Fowler. James Bye seems to be a perfect recast!

I'm another who doesn't like Jean but the character along with Ollie could bring a new dynamic. Maybe Ollie's family could be introduced which would naturally give more scope for storylines. I would also like to see Kat & Belinda return as I really warmed to Belinda. I can only hope that Kat returns with just the boys after Alfie has popped his clogs. Can't stand Alfie or Shane Ritchie. I stopped watching EE after the baby swap storyline & I can see me switching off again if it keeps losing interesting characters while not gaining anyone decent (new or old characters)

Stacey Slater is up there with my disliked soap characters of all time. I cannot stand watching Lacey Turner chew the screen up with her grotesque gurning in every line she speaks.

Kyle was a waste of time and I cannot help but feel he was only added to pander to a demographic, only they didn't look past this when deciding what he could get involved in or pursue in the square.

The Slaters are nearly extinct as I doubt we'll get Sean back.

I have just looked on the EE Wiki site and it has clearly been edited with Stacey, Martin, Rebecca & Arthur all leaving and Sean and Danny Mitchell returning.

It's a pity Belinda left EastEnders because she had so much potential as a character and I loved her relationship with Stacey and I'm saddened she has left the show. Stacey is a Fowler now and I love her association with the Fowlers but she'll always be a Slater to me. I hope Kat, Alfie, Belinda and Mo will return one day.

Redwater is currently scheduled for mid January on BBC 1. Will be really great to see Kat again and the setting they've chosen is beautiful. I'm looking forward to it.

I would love them to reintroduce Lynne Slater, she in my opinion was a waste of a character in one of the biggest families in TV history, let's face it she had that feisty, strong and ballsy Slater personality.

Little Mo was better towards the end when she grew some backbone. Wouldn't want a return for her yet.

Introductions to the Characters Shannon and Luke is needed. Maybe a reintroduction to Sean Slater.
