From what I saw - he was trying to get around to her side because Sam was making no effort at all to get the tokens from her side - she was absolutely bloody useless. In the end it didn't matter as they got the team they wanted.
I like Martin. Sure ... he's grumpy - but to be honest - we need some grumpiness right now - we can't have a load of Pollyannas in there playing the 'glad' game!
At the moment I'm not too keen on him. He seems very spoilt and petulant. They should have had a woman.

He is a long term property developer, and was a low profile media personality. But, as a result of both, he was chosen to present Homes Under The Hammer. This has raised his profile, thus is more of a celebrity. He is a property developer who became a celebrity through hosting a show he hosts because of his property background.

The show was day time tv fodder much like other shows of it's ilk. From the deafening silence in camp upon his arrival it looked as if no one else recognised his fame either.
I like Martin, although he did show homself to be a bit grumpy on last nights show. I wouldn't have put him down as someone to cause a bit of a stir until last night.

I like him too. I think the edit was designed to show him at his grumpiest but even when he's being grumpy I find him much more palatable than Danny.
I like the blue team and think they will pull together quite well in the loser's camp.

Agree. Grumpy, hissy-fitting Martin is still coming across way better than the brash, boorish Baker. I think he's a great addition to camp.

Once again Danny made sure all his Jungle Mates & the audience knew about being a Cancer Survivor...
He complains this is all everyone knows about him these days, not exactly surprising as he mentions it on every TV appearance.
I'm sorry he had cancer, & happy he is in remission... but I feel he's milking it for all it's worth.
IMO it's a bad move for Danny to go into the jungle as I can see he'll get a lot of negative comments.

Oh dear 😜 I was attempting to inject some levity into the situation but here you still are stern and staunch - don't take everything so seriously!! I only know he hosts a property show. If you know, without a shadow of a doubt, that he's a property expert then I bow to your superior knowledge. However, he isn't famous for being a property expert is he? He's 'famous' (if you can call it that), for hosting a show. I trust I'm correct in that. I'm sure you'll correct me if I'm wrong. I think that is harsh and after an ordeal of many years most cancer survivors talk about their battle. It's usually to inspire others or to raise awareness. I appreciate he might not be everyone's cup of tea but please just think there might be people watching him whilst having chemo or radio which is horrific especially to the head. They may see him and know his battle and have more hope than they did. He might be doing this to show just how much he can do after having cancer to help others get through it
