I assumed Martin and Danny were told to argue on their arrival to try to upset the happy camp but since that initial upset Martin has continued to be a master in passive aggression and the snarky comments and snide attitude so I'm assuming it is his personality.

I've never watched HUTH but as most seem to have never heard of him I think he's going to be first out fodder unless he can get himself immunity somehow.

I've never really liked him on HUTH but he is showing himself as moody like a bloody child when they don't like something or get their own way!

Never liked the man after seeing him on some programme announce he thought selling off council houses and not replacing them was a good idea.

Never seen him before, but starting to like him now.

Impossible to say whether it is the editing or just a fair reflection of his personality but Martin Roberts is coming across as a patronizing & smug bell*nd.

i like martin on huth... hes a great presenter, seems a nice decent bloke too. if he upsets people its not out of malice like danny.

I still find it hilarious that when Ant & Dec said his name to introduce him, you could see everyone looking at each other in silence going "who?". No-one even cheered when they heard his name, regardless of whether they seen him walking towards them or not.

exactly.... but ive watched huth since it first aired, maybe no so much nowdays but i was a huge fan when it first aired.

i have no clue who half of them are.

Some people are born leaders or cant take orders from others and I feel Martin might be one of them, hes used to being top boy and not the Water Boy... and doesnt like it one bit....but then if your a born leader you either lead or get out of there.. I cant see others taking orders from him at all.

Yes, that comes across and he only likes being recognised as top dog going by his sore loser petulance and his tedious OTT gloating after he won his stars yesterday.

I had no idea who he or Scarlet were. I'm sick to death of the NE camp mate being given more camera time again.

He's an insecure egotist and having to take orders is a threat. Perhaps even more so when they're from a woman. Being a born leader doesn't make someone passive aggressive, childishly fractious and patronising.

add to that, he's a lazy ****er, he also probably thinks manual labour is beneath him

Looks like it. It was guaranteed to cause ruffled feathers for some of them by bringing in two loud characters late together and immediately making them team leaders over a divided camp.

martin should have been in from the beginning, he would have settled in far better as i reckon hes a decent chap.

He seems a bit insecure and not particularly articulate/smart when he does try and get a point across.

Now the newbie in HUTH is dion ex footballer who when on the program looks very smart and imo has some nice clothes and plenty of them . Whilst scruffy martin always wears his shirts over his jeans, to hide his paunch, always combs his hair back to hid his bald spot even thoug he has spent tens of thousands on a hair transplaint which imo has not taken,
He even said in the sun paper his new hair has made him very randy and was enjoying more sex with his wife..
Imo martin feels threatend by the new boy dion dublin.

I think he just needs time to settle down. I don't think he's a bad person, just not very self-aware . I doubt we will hear him being nasty...
