Why thank you. Someone who can actually read.
I love Granary. She reminds me of Roisin a bit. She is definitely one of my most favourite candidates but in the Liberty task she was really bad and struggled to keep the others in check. If people mess up as pms, sorry, but they need to go. |

I also think we should go back to it being the apprentice. This might as well be called 'The Business Partner' now.

Wouldn't it be much better if he was hiring someone to work in one of his businesses like before? That way folk would get the boot if they were bad and not be kept on because of their business plans.
He might as well just do a Dragons Den style show and have it all done in one week. K was right to have been booted out last week, but Granary should have gone the week she messed up at Liberty's too. I too preferred the original format. |

I doubt theres many people with 100k to spend on someone to work for them who will sit there through the recording process and if they do it'll be for a specific role, so probably many roles in many organizations would be off limits due to professional/legal reasons so you end up with a sales manager sort of job and people have seen how long those sort of jobs have lasted with LS and just don't fancy the hassle.

Might as well be called never mind the performance, show me the money. Its about who can maximise your profit, minimalise your effort and risk, and doesn't turn up with something that you would never touch. .

I miss the awesome shopping channel task from days of yore.
Whatever happened to that one? |

Presumably there are reasons why Lord Sugar now picks an investment rather than an employee. However, as the tasks in the process are broadly the same as in the past, they are more suited to looking for an employee.
Looking at the (apparent) poor performers in this year's final, he surely must have an inkling about one or more of their business plans |

Looking at the (apparent) poor performers in this year's final, he surely must have an inkling about one or more of their business plans As regards poor finalists, well, it has been a poor year. And if you look at any particular finalist, it is hard to argue they have been unduly favoured by Lord Sugar. For instance, Courtney has never been in the final boardroom so could never have been fired, and that is why he is in the final -- not because of his business plan. Similarly, Jessica has only been brought back to the boadroom once, and Grainne only in the past two weeks. Even Frances, who is invariably on the losing side, has only been in the final boardroom twice, including last week when there were only three in her team so she had to be. |
