I didn't watch it as I didn't fancy 80s themes as I assumed it would feature Top Gun, Dirty Dancing and Footloose and I cannot stand the theme songs which go with the films.
Did Danny Boy and Shona do Dirty Dancing? I have watched the other year's ones though, I loved GreasEnders the year before last. I did see Shane Richie and Tony Hadley on the BBC show though and thought they were good together. |

Yes Danny-Boy and Shona did the Dirty Dancing part, and Richard Blackwood the Footloose part I really liked the 80s theme!

Unfortunately not. We did get Bonnie Langford in a highcut leotard, much to J-B's delight.

It was okay. Danny Boy Hatchard and Shona were great. Bonnie is also flexible. But I'm pretty much the same as Harlowe. I also prefer the pre-recorded performances/dances/musicals etc.
My favourites are still the ones from 2007-2009 https://youtu.be/Pn0Im1pkWZA https://youtu.be/z0fjkvqzCsQ https://youtu.be/wbwHEzw8pjM |

BIB: Bit of a strange combination though, didn't you think?

On the contrary I thought Shane Richie and Tony Hadley were a great combination and not at all strange and they are apparently really good friends as well.

Just rewatched 'Top Hat' from 2015 and Danny Boy was equally as strong there, though the dancing wasn't as complex as it was this year.

I agree. I prefer the pre-recorded ones that are done on the set as well. I could hardly make anyone out yesterday, the only people I could make out were Bonnie Langford, Richard Blackwood and the ones who play Lee, Whitney, Babe & Honey.
Next year I hope they return to the prerecorded version, with a bit of sing song this time. |

Please don't try to make out that I said something that I never. If I'd have meant Bitter Carmel, I would have said Bitter Carmel. Thanks. |
