By the stated rules, Carol won...... she drank to just below the line AND put the glass back on the table. Lisa drank it all, but didn't get the glass back on the table.

Carol's win - fair and square!

I think the blue team were unlucky and Lisa should have stopped when she got to the line, she would have definitely won then as she had time to drink it all.
I agree with this

It was just very stupidly designed. All three drinks should have been drink it all. What the hell was the point of the last inch on the third drink staying in the glass?

If it was drink all three, Lisa clearly won. But it wasn't. It was drink to below the line. Even at that, Lisa probably did THAT first; but she didn't drop the glass so there was no way of knowing! Idiot task organisers!
Exactly! It is almost impossible to tell how much fluid is in a glass which is upside down. They really are idiots for organising such a flawed task. And when those magic words were spoken......”...we are now live...”. Cue- Carol jumping up and down like a demented teenager but with an immovable face. Sorry, Carol, but you’ve been around the block several times now. Time to start acting your age especially now that you’ve destroyed your face with all that putty and polyfilla and tone down the hair dye which always ages a lady of her mature years. Yeah, we know you can add up and take away, but so can I and billions of other folk around the World.

Carol and Lisa are two of my fav campmates so no horse in this race. But yes, Carol won as per the task rules.

Whoa, nasty. Way to go on turning a thread about the results of a task into your own personal anti-Carol rant.

Lisa won it without a doubt . Carols was on the line not below it
I was sort of thinking that myself. I was looking at Carol's glass and couldn't see a gap between the liquid and the line. It looked like it was touching the line to me. Looks like that was unfairly given to Carol IF the rules were drink it until there's a gap below the line. Ola sucked the liquid out of her glass until there was a gap under the line. I'm sure she did.

Yeah, I've noticed that Carol gets very vocal when it comes to tasks/trials.

I agree. There was no visible gap between the fluid and the line. Lisa should have won.

It's a moot point now - but irrespective of the gap; what they said was the first to get below the line. Even if Carol's was below the line, it's probable that Lisa's was below the line first, but you can't see where the liquid is when the glass is upside down! Bloody woeful task design/explanation.

IVe been very impressed by Lisa over the last couple of days in the three tasks she has done. No hysterics just got on with it. Also as camp cook again none of the usual get out of my kitchen type histrionics (that we have seen in the past). Hope she gets more airtime.

Why even have a line at all?
Why not simply have a smaller glass without a line so they can drink it all and you can clearly see who's finished?
That's just common sense.

Carol was smater that's how she won she drank just enough to win, Lisa just carried on drinking & maybe thought she would win by drinking more but that wasn't the rules it was first to the line.

It was utterly stupid to have a line . First time I've seen such a stupid inaccurate condition . Should have been simply whoever emptied their glass first .

Lisa definitely won . She should have kicked up a fuss like big ego Voderman .

The bottom of the meniscus in Carol's drink was below the line. That's good enough.

But was it below the line before Lisa's was? That was the condition. There was nothing said about the first person to put the glass back on the table. It was first below the line.

How can you be first to the line when the glass is upside down and there's nothing below the line?

There is no way of determining that until the drinks are flat on the table. If Lisa's drink was still upside down in her gob, there's no way that could possibly be called.

Exactly. It was an utterly ridiculous stipulation. I wonder if they just ordered too many glasses with stripes on them?

...which is why first one on table was rightly applied. Carol's was the first that could possibly be called therefore she won.

It was pretty daft to have a line, I agree. I think the producers knew that Carol would start gloating if she won. Lisa didn't even kick up a fuss when she couldn't believe that she had lost. Lisa can have a laugh and she just gets on with tasks/trials without much, or any, dramatics.
