Amazes me that IAC has been on for 13 years (or however many) and Voderman has never done it before, she seems like someone who really likes the attention of being on it!

Now that masks are slipping all around there is definitely going to be a blow up.

My money's on Martin, though. Maybe even tomorrow.

Wasn't he pathetic tonight? He knew what he was going into and that rice and beans were on the menu. He acted like a spoilt brat.

He was just awful.

I've been watching this series for so many years and I cannot remember a more terrible first episode for the late arrivals. Martin came across very bad and petulant, Danny was just a car crash start to end.

Agree but its certainly mixed it up a bit! Me thinks this is going to be good viewing now watching Martin have to control his temper

Oh definitely. The series started properly tonight!

Am genuinely looking forward to seeing next episode. Three days ago it felt like a chore.

Clever producers are clever. They've turned this one around.

Same.

Definitely the most likely of this lot to storm off. He's been hacked off after a day and looked dejected whenever the camera was on him in the live trial.

If I was production I would have been tempted to give that task to Lisa, just for the explosion from Carol. She wouldn't have taken Lisa winning that lying down.

I like her in there but I think she is a bit competitive and I'm counting down to the point when it causes issues with the other campmates if she stays and isn't out early

Carol has been a nasty piece of work in the past like when she was on Strictly Come Dancing and was voted out in the 2nd week. She wrote an article which criticised the show and Arlene Phillips. She was very bitter about criticisms from the judges -Arlene in particular and was the only one of the eliminated celebs not to turn up for the final. Her attitude was reported in the media. Carol seems to have learned from her SCD experience and appears to have a much better attitude on IAC and she has since made her peace with AP.

Even so, it seemed to be a case of 'Let the Wookie win.' in the drinking comp with Lisa!

I can't believe she refused to come back for the final...I hope that was reflected in her pay but I doubt it. I never watched that series with her so will dig out when she was voted off

You should read a couple of articles. One written by her the other about her not coming back for the final.

Jan Ravens is another one who threw a wobbler when she was eliminated!

Celebs these days are much more media savvy when appearing on reality TV progs. Carol has certainly wised up!

I dont think she would take well to anyone winning over her whether woman man or beast

I dont think she would be a good loser at anything

I think it's fair to say that her Strictly experience portrayed her as doing something she wasn't good at. She's always struck me as nice enough but cross me at your peril

She wasn't good at it at all and at the time she didn't take the criticism or her elimination very well. Carol was very capable of a blow-up as the OP suggests but has moved on since then.

Before we get told off for talking about SCD in this room, I watched her Rumba last night....she was awful; OTT and dancing for herself with no story telling. She's lessened on the I love me factor since then as well.

It's all relative. My point about her is that she was bit of a mare back then. She's certainly changed and wised up about reality TV. She seems to learned and has stopped being aggressive and despite media pressures.

I haven't seen an awful lot of IAC but she's gutsty for doing some of the challenges. IMO the producers starved the wrong people. It would interesting to see how CV and DB coped with little food.

I thought that after seeing tonight's episode, wouldn't be surprised if he walks within the next day or two.
