The Apprentice contestants are ferried about everywhere by drivers, all very convenient! We never see these drivers, and they have to take a whole lot of stick! When deadlines are tight the drivers really are abused. Do they deserve it?

no why should they get airtime when the shows about the candidates business knowledge or lack of, the taxi drivers just sit there and do nothing so they aren't worthy of air time

We saw one last week when the contestants were asking him to take them to the back of beyond (somewhere in London anyway).

we get to see the black cab driver at the end, he's the same cabbie every week, what are the chances of that ?

I reckon he's now famous enough to get on the next version of CBB

Thanks for the responses. If I was a cab driver and had an Apprentice team plus cameraman etc all screaming at me to put my foot down or lose the task, I am not all that patient and would be quite happy to stop and tell them to take the tube! Plus of course I would have to remember the possible routes and be working out the fastest one.

After so many years now I'm astonsished no taxi driver has been pulled up on taking them the wrong way, dropping them off at the wrong end of the street (meaning they have to leg it the length of the whole market to get to the right spot) etc!

Sir Lord Sucrose: So, as project manager and the supposed expert in this area, who are you bringing back into the boardroom?

PM: It can only be the taxi driver Ala...I mean Sir His Highness. Chasing the cricket memorabilia, we told him to take us to Lord's, but he took us to France...

But to be fair he might have still been distracted by trying plan a route from Morocco and Turkey

Lords is right next door to NW1, so Courtney would have instructed the driver to go to NW2, bloody miles away
