Oh by the way Scrabbler Linda Gray has made her debut in Hollyoaks and is utterly fabulous

I think the Lee storyline I'd excellent. People really don't have the first idea of how depression affects those who suffer from it and it's a very realistic depiction which I find better than sensationalism

Also I'd actually wait to see how R &Rs exits play out before writing it off

Granted the Kim stuff is awful but she's an awful character anyway.

BIB I disagree, I think the actress and character are fine, the issue is the writing for the character at times which makes her look really awful

Jay is officially back in the Mitchell fold.

In a massive retcon it transpires that Geraldine Clough wrote A Christmas Carol, not Dickens, and apparently owning a knitting machine during the 80s does not qualify Dead Kathy to run up the costumes for the Christmas play.

McBeale sort of started to walk whilst panting all over Mas, which probably sealed the deal on his decision to up sticks to Pakistan.

Not a lot has happened Scrabbler. Lee's depression storyline has been mostly good, but there is now a bullying storyline going on with his colleagues. It's rather dull.

Masons and Belinda left, but I'd say that's more negative than positive.

Kathy has had some great scenes lately. She feels like a proper character again now, instead of a Zombie.

I struggle to see how Ronnie and Roxy's exit is going to be as huge as the press are making out. There is not a lot happening with their characters lately.

Alright Scrabs, hope you enjoyed your holiday mate. Absolutely nothing going on in Eastenders, the only new plot is Geraldine directing the Xmas production. There was a 'will they / won't they' cliffhanger where we didn't know whether it was going to be a nativity or a talent show. It was thrilling.

Both Denise and Jay were sacked and rehired in the space of an episode. Libby is back with all of her charisma and personality.

Still no progress on MyCindy returning sadly.

I am now caug up and have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the episodes, although I think it's far too early for the Christmas Storylines. They could have at least waited until December.

Ah but he redeemed himself by putting the rings back and going to the police about the drug dealer. At least he hasn't sent someone to prison that doesn't deserve to be there...now there's your scumbags.

Masood has gone to Pakistan with Kamil

Lee is working in a call centre, not doing brilliantly but his family think he is the next Lord Sugar - he also stole money from the jar on the bar to pay a deposit to Jack for a flat he cant afford

Libby is back - not sure why but is force feeding her mum veggie food

Jack wants Ronnie and kids to move to some suburb somewhere - again, not sure where!

for some reason we are still be subjected to the "Kim learning to drive" storyline
