BBC advertises Freeview HD capacity

Now that the craft channel has gone dose this mean space will become available ?? And could a decent entertainment channel get it and not another shopping channel
Not unless someone with very deep pockets is willing to back it. Nearly all the minor channels show the same or similar old cheap programmes at different times from a large server somewhere because that is all their budget will stand. Any new station would be the same. Remember that you idea of a "decent" channel probably isn't anyone else's, there are no "me" channels in the real world.

Could Sony entertainment join Freeview cos I think it's free on sky tv. So not sure if they would be any problems

The Sony Channels are Free to View and not Free to Air on Sky, hence why they are not available to Freesat users.
Encryption often means rights issues, so possibly not a candidate for Freeview at the moment.
