I'm not usually one for slagging the celebs - but - I'm sure I've seen LL on another reality programme and he was particularly obnoxious. It seems he's had a personality uplift since then as he's coming across quite well, although it could just be that the younger celebs are being particularly respectful and he is enjoying his role as elder statesman.

Anyone remember the programme he was in?

I've just looked him up but can find nothing about him being in any other reality show. Are you sure you're not mixing him up with someone else? He was a bit of a bugger in Eastenders mind!!

I haven't seen him in any other reality TV shows but, any time I have seen him interviewed, he has come across really well. He's a very interesting man.

Yes, I think it was. It was definitely to do with living on the breadline. There were a few others, Meg Matthews comes to mind as well.

I think as the series goes on, he's definitely going to divide opinion but have to say, if he carries on like this, he could go far.
I'd like to hear more from/about him, he seems to have led a very interesting life.

I'm surprised that I'd never heard of him until this show

When I saw the name I just assumed it was the former editor of the Sun but looking him up he died several years ago

There was a Larry The Lamb.......a puppet......I'm sure I've heard of that one !

Me neither. I've seen other people reading it. It was very rude.

He's come across very well on the show so far, but that for me came out of the blue. What was that about? Why did he do that?

Phew!! I misread this post and thought it said Keith Lemon and was gutted because that would have mean I would not have seen any more of this years show as I cannot bear him

It has been the chef's job this year.

he also used to have a show on Radio 6, where he showed how little he knew about music, he then insulted Ray Davies leading to a campaign by listeners to have him booted

Why? It's been the chef's job to read it out this year and Martin was stuck reading the first ingredient. I think he'd ground everyone's gears enough for one day with his whinging pompous behaviour and good for Larry.

I think his role as team leader went to his head. His sore loser petulance was divisive, trying to drag them all into his own childish problems and coming from a newbie, it understandably wasn't welcome. The originals are all close, no matter which side they were on. Even baby Scarlet told him straight and good for her.

I don't like the bloke at all tbh , ive seen him on panel shows and he didnt come across all that nice tbh , its going to be interesting as the days go on whether a nasty side appears , i noticed him snatching the note from Martin, regardless of whether the chef reads it out, Martin as a newbie didnt know it so Larry could have let him read it and mentioned about their silly unwritten rule afterwards imo
