Maybe they will try to pin Michael's death on her too.

I think
Spoiler
Kate might just, as it seems she is in some way instrumental in Maria's release!! One spoiler says 'Kate holds the key to Maria's freedom!!'

Perhaps she's escaped & is back on her killer rampage again, that's why we haven't seen or heard from her!!

All we saw was Phelan's satisfied face as he crossed himself, maybe for once Maria showed some compassion & it was a mercy killing.....One thing's for sure, nobody is safe till the courageous DS McKinnon has her safely back behind bars!!

A chilling thought indeed!!!!!!

I'm not understanding why she's doing it. Now she can never come back to the street to see her beloved Kate. She has to be dead. If she comes back, she's the one in a whole heap of trouble?

Michelle doesn't seem to have bothered either, despite Maria being the mother of her nephew and recently they made out again Maria was her best mate. And Michelle had the cheek to complain about Tracy not tending to Ken.

That sour faced cop is obsessed with giving Maria the whole nine yards. What harm Maria ever done to her is beyond me. But when I look at her hairstyle it's not Maria she hates, it's all hairstylists. Her bitterness is understandable.

Yes back into serious mode!! I don't understand why Caz has been quite so harsh on poor Maria who has always gone out of her way to be kind to her, except that, in her very obviously twisted mind, Maria let her down even worse by being so kind to her first, then suddeny 'turning on her' like everyone else when she thought they had made a connection as more than friends!!
Maria was quite blunt towards her (as she needed to be) & it seems, unfortunately for Maria, that was one rejection too many & tipped Caz over the edge into psycho mode, where nothing else but revenge seems important!! Also Kate had just rejected her yet again as well so Maria got the full force of that too!!

Does anyone know for sure why she was also rejected by the army. Were her actions for dismissal caused by psychological problems and just how drastic or serious were they. Her background is a bit too simple and hazy when she speaks of it.

The storyline is hilariously shite, why I be enjoy some of Corrie this is one of its soar points.

Fiz is quick to drop Maria in it

Audrey, David, Luke, Michelle have shown no concern someone they work with, related to or went out with is being done for murderer you know even just a comment.

It be over with and forgotten and not one sorry will be uttered.

Yep, it's just terrible. Laughably bad. I mean what's Caz's long term plan here? If she wants Maria to go down for murder (despite there being no body) then where does that leave Caz? She'd have to change her identity to keep the pretence up!

Don't think the script writers thought of that

However the most unbelievable points in this story for me is that it is possible for Maria to be able to kill an ex-solder like Caz. Once you get past that unlikely scenario how did Maria get rid of the body. I cannot see Maria dragging the body off and dumping it somewhere by herself. She would need help to do that and yet the police have not even looked into that.”

She is an ex soldier not ex para, marine or
sas !! Ex soldier could mean anything from front line infantry , cook, medic, office worker to storeman/woman

Well she has either been released on pollce bail in which case she would be back in the street, or charged with murder, in which case she would be banged up on remand

The storyline is so rubbish I can't wait for it to end! Luke had suspicions about Caz and could see right through her, yet right now he couldn't give a toss!. And when exactly did he and Tracey get together?

It's really weird, it's like his place in this storyline has been replaced by Aiden and it's been totally forgotten that he was actually going to marry her

True it's like she's been totally erased from his mind!

I think the reason this storyline might be so rubbish is because it wasn't originally planned to go like this. One of the big stories leading up to Christmas was supposed to heavily involve Sharif but then he went and got himself sacked. I think the script writers have had to do some very hurried re-writes and most of them have been done badly, like Eileen suddenly going deaf.

This is the Corrie police, they are about as much use as a chocolate fireguard!!!

I don't think Caz will be back in the street.
Spoiler
Aiden will track her down, and she is due to leave by Christmas anyway.

Indeed, it is just Caz's feeling of romantic rejection that is leaving her bitter & twisted irrespective of how Maria had actually befriended her all those weeks.

Sophie too, who gallantly wrested her true love Kate from the evil Caz's clutches and warned Maria to stay clear of the evil one's gaping maw and where is she now, swanning off on a jolly with her dopey sister and not a thought for anyone else.
