Yes, as I recall the Ken & Denise relationship was quite above board, though I think Deirdre was always jealous of it, again that is only going from memory!!
It ws later when it came between Ken & Deirdre in a big way, after Tracy had been locked up!! Deirdre became very bitter towards Ken & blamed him for not 'doing something' more to stop it happening (did he withdraw support when Tracy confessed to Deirdre about the murder being cold blooded or something?) & that caused Ken to evaluate his life & renew ties with his son, Daniel & by association, Denise!! Nothing untoward happened but Deirdre couldn't handle it & it split them for a few weeks, Ken staying on Denise's couch!!
