I've been pleased to see Judge Rinder making a few references to his participation on SCD in his own TV show this week - I wonder how ITV feel about it? Still its good, if not direct, promotion for Strictly.

A few days ago he had a mother who was attempting to sue her own daughter, and expressed embarrassment at saying she loves her. Rinder commented that such a thing shouldn't embarrass her, adding that an example of something that could genuinely be considered embarrassing would be a judge attempting to dance a cha cha dressed in sequins.

The following day when someone was saying how they had assured someone that they were able to repay their debt, he responded that people say all kinds of things that aren't true: "I could say I'm a dancer, but it doesn't mean that I am!"

Well it amused me!

I also noticed this and couldn't stop laughing, I hope he makes a few more references to it in future too

Him being self deprecating and also being aware that he's only learning is the reason why I like him, contrary to Ed Balls "I'm doing it to save/unite/for the world after Trump, Brexit, etc. Please shush, Ed.

I didn't realise they were shown so soon after filming! I like his self deprecating humour too. Obviously dosn't take himself too seriously.
