Sorry if I am coming across dramatic but it's so big! From what I can tell, the whitehead itself hasn't actually formed yet, but it's HUGE! (or rather it feels huge).

I do suffer with whiteheads on my back and occasionally face, but never have I had one on my actual anus...it doesn't hurt but I cannot pop it for sh*t.

Has anyone else had this before? Will it just go or what? The more I touch it the bigger it feels!

The best way I found of getting rid of these was from a Doctor in my local NHS Walk-in, and that's to apply Magnesium Sulphate Paste BP topically to the blind pimple. That draws out the pus and it always works for me.

You apply it once a day preferably just before bedtime and smear it generously over the affected area, then cover with a Mepore Self-Adhesive Dressing or another sterile dressing of your choice. Or just put the paste on the dressing pad instead, then you don't have to touch the pimple.

If it's in an awkward area where a dressing pad might not work, you could use cotton wool or even a folded/cut to size tissue, and then tape over that with 3M Micropore surgical tape, that's easy to peel off.

Stir the paste thoroughly until it's a smooth consistency (every time you use it) otherwise it won't work properly. A small tub of paste is about £1.70 - £2.00. It may take 3 or 4 days, just be patient.

Are you sure it is not a Hemorrhoid (piles)? I'd go to the GP and get it looked at, might be 5 mins of embarrassment but soon over.

No it's definitely a pimple. I only noticed it today.

had a similar thing I thought it was piles but it wasn't. It was pretty painful and probably about 3/4" across and 1/4" bulge... It eventually popped and watery puss came out, so not a pile and no problems since. gross topic BTW why do people feel unable to go to their doctors these days ?

Well part of me knew it was a big pimple as I'm prone to getting them on my back and occasionally on my face. Usually stress related.

But I didn't expect one on my forbidden fruit. It's still there but much smaller.
