Is she the unluckiest soap heroine in the history of soap opera?

Have I missed a husband?

Brian -Dead
Martin- Moved to Liverpool (don't make jokes about my home town that he may as well be dead!)
Richard- Dead
Joe-Dead
Michael-Dead

Is she in the Guinness Book of Records?

Phil the phoot phiddler was wise to cut & run while he had the chance!!!!!

Scottish guy, Phil Nail, looked after people's feet for a living (complete mental block can't remember the word!! )

Again Gail & Eileen were squabbling over him at one point!!

Gail ended up throwing him out after he pinned David against a wall & threatened him eith good reason, David wound him up on purpose) then for a while she suspected him of sending the 'Richard Hillman' cards until it was discovered that was David as well!!

I wish Gail had married him, only because her name would've been Gail Nail.

And there was the posh chap, who started off as Audrey's boyfriend. He took all Gail's money and ran off. I can't remember his name.

The guy played by Nigel Havers? I loved the video that he made that revealed everything

She should definitely be called the "black widow" and I'm surprised David hasnt taken to calling her that. All these dead husbands and yet no insurance. ... she could be sunning herself in the Bahamas if she had some foresight

It'd be great if Michael had insured his life in her favour on the quiet. Gail wouldn'tknow whether to laugh or cry.

Her full list of names is

Gail Potter/Tilsley/Tilsley/Platt/Hillman/MacIntyre/Rodwell.

Brian divorced her then they remarried before he's killed.

For husbands I think so but Mercedes McQueen in Hollyoaks has five dead former love interests:

Malachy Fisher - husband
Calvin Valentine
Riley Costello
Dr Paul Browning - husband
Joe Roscoe

No wonder Joe McIntyre sniped at Gail once "You should have Abandon all hope ye who enter here painted above your front door."

I always think it's a bit unfair that Gail is always mocked for this.
On the whole, it's actually the men who have been at fault,
turning out to be variously unfaithful/sociopathic/up to their neck in debt.

And well she should be mocked. Her and her foolish lifestyle. There were more men landed in her bed than on the beaches at Normandy on D Day. Yes, let's blame the men. She had no part in it. She has a heart of gold. She is a felon enabler. I never liked her. So there.

BIB - Podiatrist is the word your looking for

He was well creepy! I don't know what either Eileen or Gail or in him (mind you neither have never had great taste in men)

Or do you mean a Phelan enabler. If he married Gail that would enable the writers to end his time on Corrie because he'd die.

I know you hate Phelan, but wishing Gail on him is a step too far.
