So it is all platforms!

How can it be left like that without being fixed?

Just seems to be the HD 5.1 feed, getting better but still poor. SD seems a lot better.

I noticed, but it isn't that rare it happens. Didn't really affect the enjoyment of a good show.

Made me smile over the "terms and conditions" being mucked up by Peter Kay. The producer must have been having kittens over "the failure to comply with a legal obligation."

Claudia saved the day for them being word perfect with it at the end of the show.

Been an issue on Freeview HD but not on Virgin Media HD, seems one output only, I swapped over,

Freeview at times is 1/2 a second fast on sound.

Seems to be Freeview not BBC, as Virgin Media cable HD was perfect from the BBC.

Problem too on BBC One HD via YouView. First CiN, now Strictly. Problem with BBC One HD? Please sort it BBC. Strictly is my fave.

Freeview HD 5.1 audio feed was way out of sync, the stereo feed was better but still slightly out.

Looks like someone somewhere couldn't be bothered to do a proper lineup including a lip-sync test. As it was a weekend probably no senior staff on duty who could have supplied a work-around of some kind perhaps by forgetting 5.1 and switching to a stereo feed. Very poor indeed for a major programme. Even the stereo feed was not quite in sync although it was close. No idea how, or where, the two feeds are configured from the o/p of the desk.

The lack of any sort of apology suggests that no one was actually monitoring it off air. I suppose it is what happens when you contract everything out to Mickey Mouse companies.

Due to the vindictive attitude of The Daily Mail they probably don't want to draw attention to any problems. If their viewing breakdown is the same as ITVs, only 17% will be watching in HD anyway.
