Week 9 (Blackpool) 5 Thoughts
1. Very poor show, felt extremely flat.
2. NO MORE BACKING DANCERS. EVER. 3. Peter Kay was hilarious. 4. Danny deserved that 40. 5. Think there'll be a shock bottom two. Bonus 6 - Really enjoyed the opening group number. |

1. The SHOW RUINED by stupid costumes and backing dancers
2. Claudia looked nervous 3. Wasn't as entertained by Ed as usual, Him or Judge Rinder for Dance off please 4. Greg was good. 5. Danny deserved his 40 but in a strange way, I can see why people wouldn't give a 10.

I. I thought they all did well tonight, Greg in particular was better than I was expecting, I'd more or less written him off, but he was great!
2. Danny Mac - four tens deserved, but he cannot be an amateur, dancing like that! 3. I love Ore, I hope he wins. 4. Poor Judge Rinder, he was really depressed at the end with his marks, I think because he'd got such high praise from Craig of all people he was expecting more. 5. Tess looked genuinely beautiful, I liked her hair like that, but she wouldn't shake her hips with Judge Rinder, would she! |

1. Disappointed with Claudia, but I don't think it's her fault, AJ - I just can't take to him - he's too me me me
2. Ore - I thought he'd gone wrong so they did a spin for half the dance 3. Louise - erm, I'm no expert but aren't you not meant to smile smugly during a Paso? 4. LOVED Greg's QS & was expecting it to be dire given the song choice 5. Love Rinder, sit the hell down Bruno & are you still here Len? Extra one, leaderboard all messed up except for first & last. |

1- The show didn't live up to the hype
2- The overmarking reached an all time high tonight ![]() 3- I really, really hope that Danny wins this competition. He has to be one of my favorite celebrities to ever took part in this show; plus him and Oti are such a delight. Great partnership ![]() 4-I hope Ed survives tonight. 5- Still don't like Louise and Ore and before anyone starts No, it's not because their respective partners are Cliftons. |

1. It was all a bit meh.
2. Liked the mannequin challenge reference in Ore & Joanne's routine. 3. Says something when the most excited I got tonight was screaming "It's Peter Kay!" at the telly. ![]() 4. Born to hand jive was a bad choice of song - unless you're going to equal the original (ref Jay and Aliona) don't bother. Waiting for the climax that never came. 5. Sadly, I think it should be Ed's time to go (and that's the first time I've thought that).

1. Loved the opening dance
2. Ore massively overmarked 3. Danny amazing but it was not a fun Charleston 4. Louise looked beautiful but her dance was not a patch on Anita's Blackpool Paso from last year 5. Greg much better than I expected, had all but written him off, now I feel he may survive |

1. Gorgeous opening group dance, a spectacle befitting the Tower Ballroom.
2. Jo's choreography for Ore was fabulous and he danced it with so much style. 3. Loved everything about Louise and Kevin's Paso, the choreography, arrangement of the music, atmosphere, costumes and Louise was fierce. Should have been 40. 4. Impressed with Ed! Katya wins star Pro of this series for the progress she's made with him. He even made being lowered from the ceiling look stylish ![]() 5. Neil Jones stood out in all the routines he danced in, give him a partner next year please. I love Blackpool

1/ Loved the opening number.
2/ So sad Claudia made the error, especially after Craig hinted he'd have given her a 10! 3/ Could do without the backing dancers. 4/ The standard was generally very high tonight. The only two I wouldn't miss going forwards are Greg and Judge Rinder. 5/ No idea who's going home! |

1. Claudia, so far overmarked, it's not just that huge mistake that was the first part of the jive, when she got it back, she wasn't good at the jive. Her bounce seemed to be in the wrong place/time and she wasn't neat with her feet on closing, Spanish arms was one time when it was quite bad.
2. I agree that Ore had flaws as Craig said, he was striding too wide which meant he lost technique, however it wasn't a point below Claudia, never, and as a whole performance was quite amazing with him using his skills in performance, I was quite amazed how he commanded the stage. 3. Danny made a few mistakes with Oti in the timing of side by side, surprised nobody picked up on it and it scored a perfect score too. Louise on the other hand was as close to perfect as I could see for the night. 4. I dislike Blackpool, it's so built up that it now falls flat. They are talking about it from week one and non stop, it will always be an anti climax from now on unless they don't mention it until the week of. 5. Loved the bands Ed balls of fire. |

1) Show was poor
Bring on next week at the studio!2) Louise might as well have been a mop for Kevin to push around... ![]() 3) Backing dancers are distracting! Too much Neil Jones... 4) Danny was the best on the night, not phased by dancing @ Blackpool 5) Greg had that constipated look again... worse then his "angry" Cha Cha face... ![]() Cheeky 6... Claudia was hilarious with Peter Kay! Highlight of the night!

1. The band's rendition of spice up your life was ear splitting, good job Judge Rinder gave the dance his all.
2. Ed spent too long at the piano - not his fault, and someone 's idea of a wacky entrance actually did him no favours. 3. Claudia's jive was lumpy and heavy and I was gobsmacked she got 9s, even from Craig who then gave Ed a 4. 4. Greg needs to chill and not be so anxious, as it comes across as desperate and could be off putting (although I voted for him). 5. A bit of a disappointing show and although Danny was wow, we have been expecting him to be |

1. Ed the most hampered by props, took ages to get going, but still love his attitude.
2. I thought Greg was great and Natalie's choreography was the best use of the space. If he goes tonight he's going on his best dance. 3. I thought with a lot of the dances the background was too busy and the costumes, particularly all the blacks and golds, disappeared and took away from performances. I'm not sure any out of Claudia, Ore, Louise or the Judge were as good as they can be, or as good as they would have been in the normal studio. Don't want them to go though. Don't know what I want the result to be tonight. 4. Danny ridiculously good. I don't know if I think he just had his wow dance or had the dance that will make everyone feel he's too good and they'll vote for Louise. 5. Loved the opening number, that was the highlight of the night for me. |

1. Disappointed with Claudia's jive had high hopes it would be spectacular
2. Cant understand why Danny got a 10 when he and Oti were clearly out of time in one section 3. Ore best dance of the night for me but his head position was a little strange 4. Ed deserved more than a 4. He really tries and there is always content in his dances 5. Bit underwhelmed tonight and dont like backing dancers |

1. The backing dancers got in the way in too many of the routines. They were an unnecessary distraction. Please can we NOT have any backing dancers in future!
2. The overall show was a disappointment. I thought it would be epic being at Blackpool, but sadly it was not. 3. The judges comments and overmarking was disappointing and spoiled the show for me. 4. Loved Danny & Oti's routine. It was great to see them getting full marks. 5. I didn't agree with the judges' comments regarding Louise & Kevin's paso. I felt that there was too much posing and going up and down stairs. There should have been more dancing in hold. Also, Louise's dress was awful - I couldn't see her feet at all. |

1. Loved the opening group dance.
2. Kevin's eyeliner. 3. The training films were, as expected, ridiculous. 4. Were they using Lily Allen's "*&^% you" as the backing for Danny's training film? 5. Loved the prom theming of Greg and Nat's dance, worked well. |
