She was overmarked and she looked daft, as though she'd put her dress on over her jumper.

Undermarked? not at all I'd say overmarked it was more about Kevin.

Louise seems to be getting a lot of criticism on here. Is that because she's dancing with a Clifton, who are hated on here for whatever reason. I can't help but wonder if she'd get as much criticism if she wasn't dancing with Kevin.
FWIW, I loved her dance tonight. The Paso Doble is a very theatrical dance and for me the theatricality of that dance was fantastic. I would have given it a 10. |

It was her weakest dance imo.

Louise's dancing just leaves me cold for some reason so consequently I often feel she's being over marked by the judges.

Her Cha Cha was the weakest up to this point but even comparing the two there's just not much character with the Paso... very demure imo... Needed lots more attack and drama! Looked miles better on youtube for some odd reason ![]() Hope she has the Waltz next week as it would be lovely to see her back in a true Ballroom gown with classic music... Kevin's really great at Waltz stories too. |

I don't think the paso was her best dance but overall she is the most stylish and classy dancer since Denise van Outen. And the paso wasn't staged and presented very well.

I usually really enjoy Louise's dancing, but for the first time there was something lacking for me tonight and she got a bit swallowed up the stage and overshadowed by the other dancers dancing with them imo. It's the first week in a while I've not voted for her.

Because the judges, tpbp, costuming, producers etc are fixing for her to win?!? I got nothing. She's an amazing dancer, but it's wasted on this forum, she goes underappreciated here.

Certainly over marked slightly. She really had no oomph and as others have commented got lost when dancing with the other dancers. No way was it a 10 or even a 9. I originally thought the tie with Ore was OK but after watching the dances again I would have had Ore in 2nd alone. The one person severely over marked was Claudia as that Jive should have had her down in the bottom 2 to be honest.

Overmarked, as were Ore and Claudia, and a as a consequence of that Danny too. It all looked very impressive with the flashs bangs and and whistles, but there wasn't much actual dance content and what there was had more mistakes than were pointed out by the judges. Same goes for Claudia and Ore. Danny didn't deserve a 40, but they'd left themselves so little wiggle room for a dance that was clearly better than what had gone before that the judges had no option but give out 4 10s. Most fairly scored dance of the night in my opinion was Greg.
All Blackpool did was reinforce my disillusionment with Strictly this year - the celebs with previous dance training (and people are kidding themselves if they think that doesn't matter) and the undeserved towards particular couples by the judges are ruining it for me. |

Yes overmarked. It never ignited into a paso. And Kevin was doing all the work. Don't think it does the judges any favours (Craig ) to then go into transports of delight over it.

Compare Danny's 40 to Louise's 38 and tell me that Louise was not under marked.
It's that or Danny is being consistently overmarked. Mind you what do you expect when 3 of the judges drool over Danny's grin and whatever else he's putting out each week. |

If anything she was overmarked. Her paso was nothing compared to Pixies Blackpool paso!

It very much perception, as I see it in totally the opposite way. I think Louise is being bigged up and overmarked over the series. And at times Danny has been under marked harshly (AT)
Whereas Louise's AT was far better and worthy of a 40, but the judges had to wait to Blackpool to give that to their toy boy. |

I'm sorry it is utter garbage to say Danny's overly aggressive and stilted AT was under marked, it is delusional beyond even those normally seen on this forum.

Louise UNDERmarked?? She has been overmarked throughout the entire series, every single dance, including that not-an-AT mess. Quote:

I thought Danny's AT was amazing and one of the best dances I've seen for a long time on strictly. And I'm not delusional. It's just my opinion. Why do you have to get so personal?

Personal, it was not, it was a general comment on this consistently idiotic idea that Danny performed a superior AT to Louise, it is just wrong. Accept it.

I think Louise did a good job with what she had - just didn't feel like she had an awful lot for me. Perhaps I'll see more if I rematch. I often find I have to rematch the Blackpool dances as the first viewing is a bit overwhelming.
