Judges very keen not to lose any more female celebs
If the others were getting 10s, Danny was worth 11 The extra dancers in Louise's dance were a real distraction Rob Rinder certainly knows how to shake that "thang" I'm expecting Rinder v Greg in the DO |

1. Sadly, nothing quite lived up to expectation.
2. Cloudia - love her usually but that was not good! 3. Didn't like choreo for either Louise or Ore (but I genuinely like the Cliftons before anyone says anything, this is just a coincidence on this one particular night...) 4. Think Danny has been deserving 40 for a long time and he was fab, but would I pick up the phone and more for him? No. I like him, but still not enough to bother voting. 5. Greg was better than I feared. Rob about what I expected. Ed - not bad but not as amusing as he probably needs to be to stay in. Overall - bit meh. |

1. No real wow dance for me.
2. Hope it's JR and Ore in the DO with JR to go. 3. That's it really. |

.1 I would have given Ed and Katya 10 because it was such a joyful dance, wonderful to watch. Their dancing makes me happy.
2 10 given by Craig after mistakes have been noted. 3 Ed and Katya's dancing made me happy. Oops, said that once. 4 Claudia didn't seem to have the same oomph as usual. |

1. Loved Oti's Solo - that's what it was wasn't it ??
2. Ed hampered by the prop 3. Rinder most entertaining by a country mile 4. Craig will never give Kevin a 10 5. Bye bye Greg |

1. Blackpool...much ado about nothing
2. Peter Kay...embarrassingly unfunny 3. Ed Balls...embarrassingly unfunny 4. Apart from K&L's paso, the music/singing/arrangements not up to usual high standards 5. Too much clutter on the dance floor with props and extra dancers |

1. Enjoyed the opening number thought it worked really well.
2. Danny and Oti's Charleston was a lot of fun to watch, and I love that song! 3. Wasn't keen on the musical arrangement for Ore and Joanne's dance. 4. Thought I'd like Ed's jive more than I did, too much time at the piano maybe? He can keep time and is usually fairly light on his feet so seemed a shame that there wasn't more dancing this time. 5. Greg and Natalie's quickstep was my favourite. It was definitely his best dance. |

1. Bit flat compared to other years.
2. Disappointed with Ore & feel he could be in trouble this week. 3. Still don't like the Salsa, but the judge's 'thang' was well & truly shaken. 4. Fabulous 40 for Danny was well deserved for a stylish Charleston 5. No laughs for Ed this week. |

1. Enjoyed the opening number. Spectacular to watch but could have done with more dancing in it. Loved the male pros in tails. More please.
2 Danny is a great dancer but his routine felt more like stage dancing and I often forgot it was a Charleston 3 Louise was not aggressive enough. The extra dancers helped to hide this a bit. On her own she would have struggled. 4,Claudia's jive was weak. 5 hated Judge Rinder's routine. He could be in trouble tonight. |

1. Loved the opening pro/celeb dance
2. Hated all the backing dancers with a vengeance. Bodies all over the place 3. Jo's QS routine was inspired - she is such a clever litte minx. Superb. 4. Danny is a fantastic dancer, but doesn't really seem any better than he was in week 1. I wish him well for the future and hope he gets a stonking good role in the West End. 5. I bloody love Ed & Katya Sneaky 6. Too many Latin dances on that big, bouncy, Blackpool floor. Why oh why can they not contrive to give all remaining couples a beautiful, expansive ballroom dance set to PROPER ballroom music in Blackpool week so that the playing field is well and truly level for all of them - if only for one week. |

1. Ridiculous overmarking all the way through, but the leaderboard ended up about right (although I would've put Greg above Judge Rinder as I though his salsa was a bit of a mess).
2. I hate the backing dancers, especially as they don't even stay at the back - half the time they were between the couple and the camera . I don't buy the argument that they're needed to fill the floor - my favourite ever dance there was Kara and Artem's AS which filled the floor with just the two of them. Give them proper dances to cover the floor and it's not a problem.3. Ore's routine had way too much faffing about with cards and not enough VW. What he did in hold was skippy with odd posture so I didn't really understand the 10s. 4. Liked Danny's charleston but I think he has done other routines which were more worthy of a 40. As with all the other routines, the backing dancers were a distraction. 5. Louise looked like she had good technique in her paso, but still didn't attack it enough and the music didn't help. Would've liked to see her do something traditional like Jill Halfpenny's. This series it feels like there have been a lot of 'wasted' dances that could've been great with different music/costumes etc. |

1. I enjoyed Peter Kay
2. Note to Strictly producers..........leave the extra glitz at Elstree, the Tower ballroom doesn't need it. 3. The backing dancers spoil everything. 4. Danny and Oti were great. 5. Claudia's jive was a let-down. |

1. NO SURPRISE whatsoever that Danny and Oti got the first 40 and it was at Blackpool. Saw that coming a hundred miles off. Sorry, BBC. The harder you push them, the more I can't stand them.
2. Disappointed in Louise' Paso. She had two amazing weeks but this style did not suit her, unfortunately. Captured the mood well but not the physical power. 3. Greg's QS was a world away from his early ballroom attempts. So much improvement. And his bum wasn't sticking out! 4. Didn't much like Jo's choreography but Ore looked very suave indeed! Def did not deserve the 10s but he was so much better than Claudia, the judges had kind of boxed themselves in. Blackpool scoring is so bleurgh. 5. Ed Balls. What an inspiration. The judges can try to tear him down all they want but his accomplishments on the show are pretty amazing. |

1. Too much hype, not enough ooo-ahh!!
2. Costumes not to usual standards.....Oti's in particular 3. The show was over in a blink of the eye...... 4. Hats off to Ed for his tidy footwork and aerobic ability - Yvette is getting herself a new man out of this experience ![]() 5. I would give my back teeth for some judge's comments that were simply honest and respectful. Get Peter Kaye on that panel ![]() ![]() Sneaky 6........the end is nigh, I always think of Blackpool as the start of that downhill slope.....this is the first year I truly couldn't be bothered if it finished this week. The top boys leave me cold totally, the girls are good but not superduper and the other 3 boys.....great entertainment, and becoming the only reason I watch this series. |

1. If anyone was going to get a 40 before the final, Danny and Oti were the right ones to get it.
2. Amused to see judges boxing themselves in with Claudia's jive and having to half-nelson themselves into a semblance of a sane leaderboard. 3. Still hate party latin. 4. Louise looked fantastic until she took off her cloak and appeared to be wearing a pair of shower-curtains. Odd. 5. Don't know what the judges and audience were seeing, but quite a bit of whatever it was didn't make it through my tv screen. |

The show never quite took off and I was a bit disappointed in all the dances.
A big NO to extra dancers. They spoilt some of the dances for me. Robert Rinder is very fit and Oksana is courageous to dance the salsa choreography given her knees. Katya is vivacious and lovely. Nice to see the male pros, who are not competing, in tails. They looked very handsome, especially Gorka. |

1 ) AJ let Claudia down . It was too quick for her and her little legs just couldn't keep up with him
2) I thought Ed actually danced better than both Claudia and Greg 3) I was wowed by Danny . I loved that Charleston and he looked like a pro . Loved it 4) Louise was great but her dress was awful 5) i missed Daisys smile this week 6) I just love how the pros and celebs are so so supportive of each other . Whooping and clapping up in the Claudatorium is always great to see |

1. Great performances from Danny and Louise.
2. Loved the opening number 3. The VT's were even worse than normal this week. Especially the acting at the start of Claudia's 4. Think the enjoyment of Ed Ball's dances are starting to wear off 5. Claudia (who I've normally enjoyed) was considerably overmarked. |
