Actually what he said was a schoolboy error. A true pro would never have pointed that out on live TV and would have just carried on. He showed himself to be very petty and amateur with that observation.

I only bother watching the performance these days as the judges comments can vary from "WTF?" to "seriously...WTF?".

Simon is just trying to create a publicity storm. The Sun will report on it tomorrow. Yawn!!!

I think some of the people on here really struggle to sense tone and the use of humour (I think humour may be a new concept to some). It was a joke. I think if he was reading this, he'd be laughing at this overreaction as well.
