The show is about four things for me, and they are in this order.
1. Genre - For me to support an act I have to like their genre of Music and the songs that they're gonna be singing, or how their take on songs are going to be.
2. Performance/Emotive - If an act lacks in this area then they're just Robotic in my eyes and it's a very bad problem going into the Music Industry in any shape or form as Music is a performance art where you act out a character, which the best for doing this from this show was Aiden Grimshaw from series 7.
3. Vocal - Well the singer should have at least a competent vocal, they can get away with subpar in my eyes, but they certainly can't sound like Honey G or Reggie N Bollie if they're a serious act.
4. Being able to play an Instrument - It's the least important thing on my list, but I do respect anyone that can play an Instrument even if they're bad at the other 3 in my list of what I like to see in an act.
Basically the problem with this top six is that they're not allowed to showcase number 4, we know that Saara can play the Piano but hasn't been allowed to use it at the lives, we know that Ryan and Emily can play the Guitar, Ryan used his once, and Emily hasn't used her Guitar at all, and 5AM, Matt, and Honey G I'm unsure if any of them can even play an Instrument.
Only Saara can convince me that she has number 3 out of the top six.
Saara and Ryan are the only ones that have shown that they can do number 2 on a more consistent level imo out of the top six.
And Ryan probably has my favourite genre out of the top six with his Pop Rock vibe, the rest all have styles that I can take or leave.
