I did think there could have been an insinuation there, either it was 'Haha, Louis likes boys and Matt is the more attractive' or 'You're attracted to your own kind' I just thought both options crossed a line in banter to me
I think Matt is naturally a camp man and I personally feel that if he was allowed to perform in a more camp manner he would probably deliver better performances imo.
However I think he is told to hold back because they're scared that the main block that are voting for Matt wouldn't vote for him if he showed a camper side to himself.
It's sad but I think it's how the production's mindset is working when it comes to Matt.

People being odd on here as usual. Maybe he is or not but people here think they know everything.
That could be why Matt's a very good singer, because his voice isn't as 'macho' as the voices of a lot of other lads out there are. I would think a male voice needs to be closer to the feminine side for them to be a very good singer who can easily reach the high notes. That could be why Matt's voice is a little bit higher when he speaks.
