Agreed!
Louise looked a little under rehearsed sadly. 8 from me !

Nice lady very good dancer, but mega beige - her dances are yet to draw me in.

It wasnt very exciting. For me she is really boring and the paso is all about sex appeal and chemistry with one's partner. She is nice and nice is a boring adjective.

She has started from a low base and has worked her socks off to improve. That's the sort of contestant that I admire. She is now far less nervous, more confident and is enjoying herself.

Nothing will beat Pixies paso at Blackpool. Louises fell flat in comparison.

Beige in the extreme for me.
Too nice to float my boat.

She seems a lovely person, and is a very good competent dancer, but I'm still waiting for that wow factor from her. I'm sure I saw her smiling at some points during that Paso.

Nah, not a fan at all. By far my least favourite Kevin partner and by far my least favourite Kevin paso. The two other female dancers, I think one was Karen, just made Louise's dancing look even more pedestrian than usual. Why did they give them such tall backing dancers, even Kevin looked weak.
She dances like someone who doesn't like to sweat.
I know I'm in a minority but i much prefer bold , 'out there' Kevin

Lesley should have been paired with Kevin, she has the right sort of personality for him and his choreography. Biege Louise should have been paired with Anton, except that then we'd have had to cope with another 'year of the Anton." I don't know if Lesley would have stayed in the competition any longer if she'd been paired with Kevin, but I think it could have been a good pairing nonetheless.

Which Tess, normally the most gushing of hosts, was quick to point out in case the judges missed it. I thought that was unusual?

You've summed up my feelings on her perfectly.

I felt very similar about Abbey, Caroline and even Jay on occasions...technically very good, but their dances left me feeling cold. Given that pattern, I fear Louise is going to end up another (in my opinion) bland champion.

She has the 'nice' factor of the others you mention, and that does generate popularity. I like the nice contestants myself and the ones who laugh at themselves. That's Louise's saving grace for me, I can imagine her reading all the twimsy mug of cocoa comments and having a laugh over it. While my favourites are always the ones who invest a bit more of themselves, there's something quite appealing about the sane ones too who have real lives to be getting on with and a bit of perspective. I'm guessing that's what's getting the votes for her. Still didn't like that paso though.
