Soft Brexit or hard Brexit we will still be outside the EU ..... and that is significant for the following reason. If it turns out not to work in the view of the electorate, future governments will be free to seek to change the arrangements, given a mandate that is. As long as we remained in the EU we had to like or lump what we got.

And, how do you know all this?, neither Ms May or any of her Brexit team have mentioned anything which we or the EU will accept during negotiations |

This is not a controversial or adversarial question, but do you run your own business?

Good we shouldn't want any ties with the EU the dictatorship is becoming increasingly hostile towards us. We have other countries to trade with

I am a member of a gym chain which offers up to 8 different membership types with different access rights and costs.
Of course it's possible to tailor different arrangements - hence the opt outs Ireland the UK and Denmark have on Schengen etc and bar Ireland the euro. It's not impossible it already happens! |

I take it from your answer that you have never had to negotiate a business deal where millions are at stake? |

Absolutely not, I was an employee, just an engineer with BT.
I have been in negotiations will many governmental agencies, and private companies concerning funding and believe you me, no one states their position before the start to negotiations. The last high profile guy who showed his hand before dealing with Europe was called Cameron, and look what that did for him - he got nothing and lost. |

It would seem that a few posters on here know exactly we will be left with or negotiate when we exit the EU
Remember that being a Brexit supporter I need things in small words and said slowly. |

When? The last set of figures showed a fall.
Is it Septembers figures ? Aren't they the 2nd highest monthly export figures on record ? Only narrowly lower than Augusts, which were the highest figures on record. I think that proves my point about the effects a drop in sterling has on exports. |

At least the facade of European unity has been dropped, threats and coercion are the only things keeping the EU together now.
You just wonder how much trust this makes the new partners we are trying to get FTAs with trust us. Brexiters don't care though. They just want to ruin everything because it will show them. Bexit means breaks its. |

Although as I have already said Ms May has kept any points for agreement/negotiation very secret, a few posters on here seem to know what Ms May is thinking and what her strategy will be, as far as I am concerned no one knows anything yet
I agree how strange it is that we have so many on here that are privy to Cabinet meetings. |

I started as a Telegraph Boy in 1956, as I had no qualifications when I left school, I waited until I was 21 and transferred to Post Office Telephones as it was then.
