She was way overmarked, after that the judges had nothing but tens to give to better dances.

Agreed, it was an awful, messy jive. I hope that they are in the dance off.

Spot on. Its been an issue from the very beginning of the series, the scores were too high in week 1 and have left them little room to manoeuvre.

Remember when Lens 7 was an achievement? It seems to have become his default score these days.

Craig is the only one who scores realistically in the early rounds although even hes been a bit off this year

Love Claudia but can't disagree with any of your comments. Lets hope if she survives to next week that AJ and Vicky Gill get their acts together and provide her with better support.

I think Claudia was struggling with her heels being too high. I admire anyone being able to dance in high heels

Thank Goodness. I was sat at home making my polite critique and marking shaking my head at how untidy and clumpy that dance was. Much as I love Claudia and AJ, not her best. A 7 from me. When the judges comments and scores were revealed my Gob was smacked, and more than ever I smelled collusion - a scoring plan between the joodges.

The judges (especially Craig who I was very shocked with), lost what little credibility they had marking their jive so high.

Claudia was struggling throughout the dance to keep up with a routine that was far too fast and frantic.

Her kicks and flicks were poor and it looked laboured and flat footed throughout.

Marking a duff dance so highly left nowhere to go with the marking of the other couples in the competition.

Either the judges were basing their marks on watching the dress run or they had been told by the producer to do everything they could to keep the remaining female contestants in the series.

Agreed. She was off balance a lot (considering she's a gymnast). There is no need for her to try and match AJ's height in jive. They are not in closed hold.

I think the problem is AJ.He gives her too much content

I love Claudia and have enjoyed AJs choreo so far. I expected her to smash the Jive but it really wasn't her dance. Overmarked, but yet again music choice fail!!

In complete agreement, said to my husband if that got 4 9's it's overmarked and leaves no where to go but 10 for better dancers.

I think the heels may be a handicap for her because - unlike most female competitors - her sporting life is lived in very flat (or no) footwear. And I agree, there's no need for her to try and match AJ's height generally but I'm not sure that he is taking her height - and leg length - into account sufficiently.

She's clearly capable of rhythm, timing... but there's something going wrong in her dances. I'm not convinced it's her lack of ability, it may be insufficient experience on AJ's part in choreographing to suit and show off the abilities of a diminutive partner.

It's a shame because Claudia has all the ability, energy and verve that Louise lacks.

Being small & compact I was expecting a really special jive from Claudia, so was really disappointed

I came on here just to see if anyone else had thought that Claudia had been overmarked. Even though the dance was energetic and fun, I thought it was a bit of a mess and she was lost in a sea of dancers and didn't stand out at all. Would have placed her in the bottom half of the scoreboard this week!

I'm getting irritated at the music and costumes they give her every week. As soon as I saw those ridiculous cheerleader outfits my heart sank (we aren't American!!!!! ).

It was a poor dance to open the show with but I think she did the very best she could with what she was given.

I agree and. Felt exactly the same in Louise's critique as well. SCD need to be careful they don't go down the X factor route here and lose credibility. Look what happened to that show!!

I agree with everything you've said. I really like her and the SCD machine are failing her IMO. She needs to be given adult themes.

The over-marking of their dance helped me to sit back and enjoy the rest of the show because I knew I couldn't take the judges' comments seriously.

She looked lovely in the opening dance. Wearing a beautiful dress appropriate for her age.

I fear one week we'll get them dressed as toddlers (if she even gets through as last night did her no favours). It's very distasteful.

I think everyone was over marked but the leaderboard itself was right. When they painted themselves in a corner with Claudia they had no choice but to go up for the rest.

Saying that, I hope Claudia gets through now; she dances with so much joy and AJ pushes her all the way.

Now when Len shouts "SEVEN!" they pull faces and think they are undermarked.

I think Claudias biggest problem is AJ, he's too inexperienced, his choreography the last two weeks have been awful. The eye is attracted to his performance too much.

Same thought ...he is choreographing himself lol. I believe he's showing off for the producers making sure he gets the gig again next year...Claudia is just his prop.
