can anyone explain why this happens/i pay by dd for my bt / because my pension goes in a couple of days after my bill is generated i am behind and get the message because your usage is high we need to higher your direct debit,i have bt infinity 2 unlimited,i phoned but cannot understand the advisors that speak broken english,how can my usage be higher when i get unlimited broadband?

Do you make a lot of 'phone calls? The broadband part of the BT bill is a fixed cost, but calls, especially those that you make outside of any agreed calling plan, will bump your bill. I speak from experience .....
To get round the calls cost I now use a VoIP 'phone, and the company that I use gives me 300 minutes free to use globally, before they charge me Euro12.70 periodically. Clem |

It might be worthwhile asking your question on the BT users forum here. Most there are just BT customers, but the mods are BT employees.
If the mods get involved, they will probably invite you to pass your account details privately, but can take several days to get back to you as they are only a small team with a fair workload. |
