Surely Larry could have got off his throne and gone over and given her a hug if he was concerned for her. I am surprised that she didn't start sucking her thumb while she was on his knee.
if he really gave a shit he would have tucked her in bed and read her a story

When Larry stayed on that seat and told her to come over, I thought get off your arse and go over and comfort her. To get her to come over and sit on his knee seemed and looked all wrong.

Too bad his daughter doesn't get that kind of attention
Well as she must be well into her 40s that would indeed be a bit weird

I've seen on her on Gogglebox the handful of times I've watched it, but I don't recall her behaving in a way as though she had regressed to childhood on it as she appears to be on this show. And that is a show where she is sat in a room with her actual parents.

When an adult acts like a child you usually associate them with being backward or having a condition of some sort. Especially if they're in their late twenties.
I've seen her on Gogglebox too and it didn't click but you're right she isn't babyish on there at all. In fact she is quite mature. She is funny though and is on IAC. I appreciate she won't be everyone's cup of tea but I like her, well the funny side not the babyish side.

From what Ive seen of her parents on Goggle Box, her dad wouldn't say boo to a goose and her mum seems pretty laid back so she probably not used to any kind of arguing so maybe this will be a good life lesson for her. Life isn't sitting in your cosy living room being paid to watch TV with mummy and daddy. In fact I could just see her sitting there watching this show saying 'Errr why is that 26 year old sitting in that old guys lap, bit weird, I wouldnt sit on your lap Dad!'

Martin is a bit of a moaner but he has a personality and hes just reacting in an honest way. Wouldn't life be dull if we were all the same? Plus its more entertaining to watch

Martin's faults are so obvious it makes him an easy target but I would say he could be great fun if he gets into it. He's livened up the show big time. And I thought he did really well in the task.

I noticed that too, I'm worried for her health.
I wouldn't worry too much - quick as lightning the other day when she wanted to get to the phonebox before anyone else! Her nails are in tip top condition too. Long and painted perfectly red - no heavy, dirty work there then, just chilling and giving orders. And eating very well.

When she said that she knew she was like a kid I immediately became suspicious that she's playing the 'baby of the group' game which you often see on BB.
Become an infantilised adult and the public seem to love you because you make them think of you as a child.
That's the role she seems to have adopted............but only when it suits her!

I have never watched Gogglebox so knew nothing about her. I can't say I particularly like her, I don't find her the least bit funny. Her, ''I'm ever so humble'' act doesn't ring true to me either!

what possessed her to want to sit on Larry's bony knees, a broken deckchair would be more comfortable ?

I also think her legs are overthin, they don't match her stocky body, her hair is also quite a mass
I fail to see that she has a "stocky body" Some months before coming into the jungle she lost a lot of weight and has that thin faced look where her teeth seem to be too big for her mouth common in people who have had some sort of gastric surgery. I think she has had some work done to her teeth also. I don't know if she actually has had surgery but I wouldn't be surprised and thought it would have been wiser to put a little weight ON before going into the jungle due to the meagre rations. As for her hair, she probably has some extensions in but it's hardly going to look perfectly groomed in there is it. A scraggy topknot is about the best that anyone can do in there.

I thought it was innapropriate at first, then the thought crossed my mind: 'Would it be wrong if a grandad was consoling and cuddling his (upset) grown-up granddaughter in that way?' and the answer is no, not really, so I dunno...
