If Strictly is all about pure dancing ability, why is it necessary to have a pantomime villain judge? We all know why Craig nitpicks and votes down. Even the rows with the other judges are scripted. We've all watched and wondered what will Craig have to say this week. Without Craig's comments the programme would be really bland.
I, for one, have had my fill of watching stage school trained celebs pretending to have forgotten how to dance. Dancing is like riding a bike, once you've had hours of practice and performance, you've got it. Ed is starting from scratch, years of Dad Dancing will never make up for the experience others started with.
If Ed should win, millions will be happy, who cares if a few forum 'experts' are upset. It certainly won't affect the popularity of the programme.
