Honey G won't win, Ed might, but it'll be a push, and I'm not sure where Scarlet Moffatt comes into the whole doomsday scenario thing given that she's on a pure personality contest with no "talent" element and is coming across quite well.

Don't be so sure. A lot of people are deliberately voting for Honey G just to mess with Simon. They know Simon will have to sign her to Syco if she wins, but they figure he won't actually be able to do anything with her because they see her as the joke act rather than genuine recording artist material. If that mess-with-Simon attitude gains momentum, then like the Rage Against the Machine campaign for the Christmas No 1 a few years ago, there's a strong chance she'll win -- and that will quite possibly be the end of The X Factor, which is of course another reason why people are voting for.
