NOW TV concurrency issues.
Seems like I'm far from the only one.
Even though all 3 TV's (LG using the Now app) and the tablet running the LG app, whenever I try to access NOW via tablet or the main TV you get then message "too many simultanious streams - please turn one off" when they are all off, except the one I'm trying to watch. You are allowed four devices and two can be watched concurrently. On their community board, a lot are having problems like this - anyone here? I'm a week or so into a month's sports pass and I'm asking for a full refund...or they fix it and my month can start from fresh. It's also tough on sports fans who buy a single event and then find they can't access it when they turn on. |

I'm using the embedded premium TV apps. Why would I want to cast the tablet? Tablet has the same fault anyway

As I said, I am using the embedded (premium as you call it) Now TV app on my LG Smart TV. On my tablet I am using the Now TV app so that I can watch when away from home using hotel wifi for example. You state you are using a "tablet running the LG app", which LG app is that and what does it have to do with Now TV?
howard h - have you tried signing out of the TV apps on all but the main TV to see if that makes a difference, shouldn't need to but might be a start to see where the issue is. |

Got to be a typo, surely it should have read "and the tablet running the Now TV app".

So Now TV thinks the session is still open even though the device that opened it is no longer viewing any Now TV content. |

One solution is to get them to clear all four devices and then sign in with a tablet (1 device) and Chromecast (second device) and simply move the cast to the TV you want, until they solve the problem. Not a very good solution for a premium service, especially if you've bought the boxes or a TV specifically for the app. |

I've 2 NowTV boxes plus use the app on XB1 and iPad and have never had this problem. I've often had it running concurrently on 2 platforms from 4. I've never used a TVs built in app, though, so my money would be on the issue lying with that.

Managed to get a little bit of compensation out of them - a week's pass to make up for the *lost* days.
Would still have preferred a full refund - this last few days has been appalling and their response to it less than satisfactory. Hope their techies have it sorted quickly and announce a similar "compensation" for those affected. |

I faced a similar probably a couple of weeks ago. It really doesn't like it if I stream through my tablett and PS4 app at the same time.
