I'm looking for a cheap but reliable google cloud ready printer that I can use with my chromebook. Will only want to use it for basic home stuff. Preferably no more than 50 quid or so. Does anyone use one they can recommend?

There's a list here https://www.google.co.uk/intl/en/clo.../printers.html which I'd suggest looking through and then look at the prices and online user reviews for each specific printer that you are interested in.

Good luck with that! You'll need it trying to set it up.

I plowed through that list but they are too pricey or unavailable.

There are plenty of available HP printers available in the £35-£90 range and Google iCloud printing can be avoided with HP's own specific printing app - see https://chromeunboxed.com/usb-printi...-quite-simple/

Before you buy any HP printer, I'd suggest double checking with them that the printer you like is actually compatible with the HP Chromebook printing app.

Chromebooks are easy to use - until you want to print something.

Setting up my printer to my Chromebook was the easiest printer setup I have ever done. Log into printer enable Google print go to manage printers on Chromebook and add the printer job done no messing with printer software and drivers.
